Couse de la Paix U23 (this year with different name Grand Prix Priessnitz spa) finished in Czech Republic this weekend. Czech climbing talent Schlegel grabbed 2nd place behind Lambrecht, leader of strong belgian squad after finishing Giro just few days ago (where he was 45th overall).

A bit surprising for me to see Belgium coming here with such a strong squad. Almost all other countries have sent their best talents to the Baby Giro which will have its first edition since Dombrowski won it in 2012.

The Baby Giro has started today, and it's Neilson Powless who takes a solo win. Welten wins the peloton sprint

3 more stages in the Giro
Riabushenko (who I hope will go to PCT or WT next year) wins stage 2 in an impressive manner, with a strong punch near the end
Stage 3 saw a strong break make it to the line. Padun won the sprint, Sivakov took the leader's jersey.
Stage 4 was a mass sprint. Jasper Philipsen may well be the greatest talent at the moment, seeing that he turned 19 this year!
Today we have 2 stages. First a tough hilly stage with finish in Osimo. Then later on a 14km ITT which will shake up the GC. Tomorrow there's another bumpy stage with an uphill finish, and the race will end with an MTF at Campo Imperatore on Thursday

Final Giro U23 update
Stage 5a saw a breakaway win, with Joseph Areruya taking the stage. First ever Rwandan UCI win in Europe?
The TT was for Hamilton, with Sivakov hanging on to the GC lead
Stage 6 was another breakaway win. Francesco Romano took the win.
Today was the decider with an MTF. Hindley took the win
But in the end, it was not enough for the GC, as Sivakov held on

sivakov wins baby giro
first time anyone wins isard and baby giro in the same year and hes only 19
incredible talent
hindley is a moron
his teammate hamilton would win the giro if hindley would give him the time bonus for stage win
he didnt
so so selfish
now they changed the time gap so it wouldnt change the winner after all

Asgreen wins after a strong solo from the early break
And just now Jakobsen won the sprint, with a mass crash in the final few meters

I want to see Riabusschenko unleashed on a hilly stage. No Team Slovenia and thus no Tadej Pogacar, who would've been a Top5 candidate for sure, is a disgrace.

Areruya is just too talented - his engine is superiour to anything in his age in Africa right now. He has the future in his hands.
And our daily talent in 5th
