I cried for an hour when my saves were erased from Silver version. The TV show is terrible, but Pokemon is probably my favorite game franchise ever. Some people say it's weird, but almost everyone in my high school has a GBA to play Pokemon.

Generation or not, you don't see me playing Teletubbies ... or Pokemon, for that matter. At one point or another you move on ... but apparently you guys don't |

I still enjoy playing the games so I don't see a reason to move on though. except for the anime. although I really enjoy most anime's now a days. I only consider watching the first season.
edit: last post on this subject for me to prevent to much spamming

Pokemon? Yeah, another piece of evidence that the average age at this site has dropped a bit too much
isn't it great that cycling is getting more populair with the younger people despite all the doping troubles there was the last couple years

The teletubbies freaked me the hell out. They were my first encounter with hallucinogens.

Guilty as charged.
20 years old and counting: wouldn't change the channel if Pokémon was on. Hey, it beats the hell out of the News, which just depresses me more and more every day
Also, the Pokémon Trading Card Game is actually quite a nice game, it's just a game like Trivial Pursuit, Yahtzee or whatever, but with Pokémon cards But actually a strategic game. |

This picture says it all about the evolution of Pokemon. The first series was cool when there were still only 150. after that it went downhill.

This is so spot on. Generation I was legendary. Generation II was acceptable. Generation III was abysmal |

Playing Pokemon on my laptop helped me to stay awake in an awful lot of lectures during my first two college years...
Then again, I dropped my second subject over the summer, so I propbably wont play it anymore.
(But common... We've all been there!)

But instead that you are playing a game for children you are afterwards just the nerd if you are telling it to somebody

Well, being "grown-up" is just an illusion and some people's lives make me sad. There are those which are all about being 100% serious and "grown-up". Count me out for that.
I say you do whatever you wanna do and leave the judging up to those who it matters to, but not to me |

I've got a German colleague at work who is into sports but not into cycling anymore. His attitude has also been shaped by the German media and just doesn't care about the sport anymore whatsoever.
It's a shame, especially for Ciolek, Kittel, Greipel and Martin, who have all been doing excellent this year.

Being serious is not needed to grow-up but taking responsibility for your actions for example would. Growing up on certain aspects can change your life drastically.
BTW: In regard of Pokemon I would rather suggest to "move on" than to "grow up". |

Well, taking responsibility is just a logical step in getting wiser. If that's growing up, okay, fine, than you grow up. But when I see 50 year olds being dumbasses, I seize to believe one can really "grow up".
And in the case of pokémon, why move on? When I get bored and I play the game, who does it hurt? Does it matter? Nope, so why should I move on, I can enjoy it on a rainy day. |

If it doesn't hurt anybody and you want to do something, do it, that's what I say.
Can't see a reason why anyone would disagree with that, unless they don't have an ounce of logic in their mind! |

I'm really pissed off right now. Finished writing something up which took me 45 mins here on the forum for my story, only for when I hit preview for the forum to log me out. It then doesn't let me go back like usual, so I have to write it again |

Well, I think that Gen I and III are brilliant, surely because I grew up with Gen III... But I agree though, Gen II is average and IV and younger are rubbish bullshit
EDIT: I'm 16 by the way...
