If Vanmarcke had waited another 10-20m he could have got that. Brilliant ending to an enjoyable race. Liking the track race at the end and the Eurosport commentators having it in for Gaudin. Looking forward to the Ardennes next week and I hope the finish of the Fleche will be during one of my free's. |

What a shame we had the incidents with the fans on the cobbled sectors. Would have been even more interesting if Stybar had got there with them.
Vandenburgh seemed to be fading - but Stybar was right there.
Cancellara was not at his best but still took the cobbled double, still excellent to see others really push him.
Top marks to Omega Pharma and Vanmarke there as well. Fun race.

Europcar with 2 in the top 10 is a good effort. Kristoff keeps looking better and better, he will overtake Hagin before to long

Sure, he's obviously retarded.
There's no such thing as experience, only retardedness.
I think it's rather retarded to call a 24-year-old retarded because he looses a tactical man-to-man game against a 32-year-old who's one of the best cyclists of the moment. |

Vanmarcke with terrible decisions from 10km back, oxigen simply does not flow to the brain that much after such racing. As for Cancellara's attitude, I can't feel too outraged about it, he lost a couple of these by much more shameful tactics, he is an old fox with nothing further to prove, so he owes no one. He is either going to add to the palmares or not. Sep had a (maybe? hope not) once in a lifetime opportunity here.
They are almost dead, fast race today. Really had to dig for it.
Pity about Stybar, a finish with 3 guys would be great.
Gaudin totally deserves the honourable 5th. Impressive ride. |

Thats a bit harsh, he is still young and Cancellara knows how to win a race. Big stage so not a surprise me made a mistake

How many years as a pro does he need to know you don't start a sprint from like 300m out after a race like this?

How tough must it have been for Stybar to see the sprint for victory happening behind/alongside him at the end?

Kristoff with an 8th in M-S, 4th in De Ronde and 9th P-R. I'm chuffed!

Not the results I expected looking back. Great Roubaix. Styybar did well to keep 6th, but they should give him 3rd after outside interference.

Those were took my biggest plaudits today.
Vanderbergh is missing from this list, should have been here : (
What a race for OPQS, salvage a podium place but could have been so much better if not the two fans.

Does anyone know where Eisel finished? 15th or something i guess. Pity that he had a mechanical when he was with Cancellara and Terpstra and the bridged the gap and he suddenly was in Chavanels group. Even though he wouldn't have podiumed, it could have been his 3rd top ten finish at Roubaix. |

Shame Vanmarcke lost! Hope he learns from this.
Enjoyable race. Except for the spectator falls.
