If this is one of the longest TTs of the season, then it's clear where the lack of balance actually is.
Yep, I agree.
I am not against TT's at all. But in this specific race, such long TT didn't suit at all. In some others, where there's no TT's and plenty of climbing, it would be nice to have such TT. But oh well.

Why balance? We have tons of races with climbing and without a TT, so why not have a race with long TT and almost no climbs? It is a nice chance for once more and also chance for different riders to shine. Imo we have too few races without long TTs. Maybe this could be called balance, to have some other races than just 2 flat stages + 2 climbing stages + 1 max. 10-15kms long TT, that can be boring again and again.
Or you have problem with Henao not having chance in the end?
Not really... If Wiggins was here and won, I'd still be on about it
Much shorter TT here would at least give chance to the climbers against those TT'ers. As I say, this is one of the longest TT's in the season and it just doesn't suit this race. Something around 20km would do just fine and be more fair.

It would be unfair for the TTists this way.
Heh, it would I'd say though It'd be much closer but Martin would still win the GC etc. but it'd give some climbers that did well yesterday more of a chance to defend their GC position.
The thing is, we agree the route was unbalanced. But, does it really matter that much? How many races in the whole calendar are really balanced between climbing and TT?
