I know you're still busy with the Giro but there is NO time to rest up and recalibrate, tomorrow the main preparation stage for the Tour begins with a packed startlist and a very hard mountainous route!

The opening day in France will be an interesting one. It's one that can finish in a sprint but there will surely be a fight between some puncheurs and climbers to make sure that doesn't happen!

It's been a pleasure writing this Giro. It was a really good one and I hope you enjoyed it as much as me, it will all wrap off tomorrow with a fast time-trial into Milano!

I talk to some big men ahead of this sketchy day in the Dauphiné, one that will see the GC men battle it out for the first time this week!

3 for 3 for the breakaway? The possibility is real, however tomorrow is the best opportunity for the sprinters to take their deserved win and they will fight hard to race the small hilltop finish first!

It's been a conservative race so far, but that will cease to be the case tomorrow as this crucial hilly time-trial is set to make the first significant differences between the GC entourage.

After a surprising time-trial can we see the same in tomorrow's hilly stage? A mean profile, almost fit for the sprinters but with a very steep ascent near the finale, will be a thriller!

As the race enters the Alps we have a day suited for a breakaway tomorrow, one that may see some surprises though as the GC guys should be battling to get ahead of the competition!

The Dauphiné is still not over but tomorrow we have another big one starting right over the border in Switzerland, where a luxury cast will be fighting for what is the last stage-race before the Tour!

The final stage of the Dauphiné. Although the stage isn't easy to raid and Ineos are in control, tomorrow promises a lot of show in the final climbs, featuring lots of top climbers!

We have the opening time-trial in Suisse tomorrow, a very fast yet sketchy route through Frauenfeld that will set the first differences and the first leader!

Tomorrow's stage in Suisse is really interesting, with rain mixing up what is already a very hard and sketchy finale, the world's best puncheurs will be here looking to get a big win!

In the rain tomorrow we will have another trecherous hilly day, very well suited for a breakaway but also for late attacks!

Another hilly stage awaits the peloton tomorrow, quite different than the ones we've had so far but if the peloton is to contest the stage it will have to tackle a long yet smooth climb near the finale in Gstaad.

Leukerbad will receive the finale of the first mountain stage and summit finish, a stage that overall isn't very hard but has a very explosive finish.

The long weekend in Andermatt begins tomorrow with a hard stage, one suited for a breakaway but everyday in the mountains can be explosive in the fight for GC!

I’m also inclined for a Bahrain win tomorrow but from Gino Mäder, if he has fully recovered from the Giro crash. |

It doesn't come often! A mountain (and descent) time-trial tomorrow on the menu in Switzerland, the GC riders will have a big battle for a prestigious win. I also talk about why X bike is better than Y!
