Costaand Kelderman no where to be seen and Mas going out the back of the second group while Pozzovivo sits right = new winner incoming. Should've gone for Nibali after all
Anyway looks like a good finish is in store

Definitely looks promising. Kind of expected Ian to go both Uran and Nibali, and I must admit I'm happy he didn't, especially how it looks now Should be a brilliant finish to a brilliant race too!

Couldn't afford both if I wanted another outsider transfer. As it turns out even picking Nibali wouldn't have been enough anyway. Well done, great second half of the season and well deserved win

Final results are out. Congratulations to purepasd for his dominant win! Though unfortunately he slipped out of the overall podium, a final top-5 is a respectable result among so many competitors.
And congratulations to ember, as well, for his maiden win, and to Ian for his impecable consistency throughout three seasons straight. Now waiting for ringo's official final results to see if I held on to that podium spot. |

Thanks Freitas and well done on 3rd. Congratulations to Ember and Purepasd! Wonderful wins to end the season with.
Thanks to Ringo for another great season. Highlight for me was finally cracking Spring Classics and (just about) clinging on to a top 10 in the new Velogames season standings.
A very well deserved new champion in Ember with the silver lining for me not having to stick to my pledge of taking a season off, if I had been lucky enough to win again. Lowlight was the depressingly cynical culling of the TdF game by the ASO massive, thankfully a simple workaround seems to have been found going forward, judging by the"Vuelta" competition.
Here's to next year, cheers Ringo, cheers all.

Happy to see my team defend the lead down to Ian and even extending it a bit in Lombardia, resulting in the overall win. And thank you for all your congratulations
Just like Ian, the spring classics was my best Velogames competition during the season (at least from memory) as I finished just behind Ian and well inside the top 50 overall, I think.
Fun to win the overall without winning any of the league competitions during the whole season. Though, I was fairly consistent close to the top in our league, and I guess that gave the overall win in the end too. Especially the second half of the season gave me several top placings, eventhough I never got a competition win. That makes next year's goal to win one event, I guess
Thank you again for running this, ringo. It's great additional fun to the races, and hats off for the calculation work you do during the year, always making it easy to follow the standings, as they're up to date. Looking forward for another season, that's for sure!
Also very well done to Ian making 9th place overall in the world for the whole season, in Velogames' new season championship, congratulations! Says a lot about your consistency and ability to score well in the points heavy races, I think. |

Congrats to Ember for the overall win and to Ian for his top 10 in the overall rankings. Impressive!
I'm happy to finish the season off with a win, after a mediocre season compared to last year. I feel like the WC did the most part for me
And thanks for hosting, Ringo, looking forward to next year! |

Final League Table has been updated. Further updates to be made during the off season to give a bit more detail.
Congratulations to Ember on his overall victory. It was always going to take a great score to beat the two time and defending champion Ian. It literally went down to the last day of the last race, which makes a nice change from the title being sewn up by the end of July. Hopefully now Ian has some definite competition for next year and beyond.
Congrats also to Freitas for taking the final podium spot, again a great performance to beat the ever present Lord di Lego into 4th.
The biggest and most important news however is the rise of Ringo182 into 24th place overall. Managed to sneak into the leader board for the first time this season right on the last day of the last race.
Thanks to everyone for playing this year. The game will be back in January for the Tour Down Under (I assume). Thanks also to George (If he is about on the forum) for his hard work bringing us the game. Hopefully the Tour issue has been resolved going forward.
Cheers

Really good to see my 3rd spot confirmed with a final strong performance in Lombardy.
Cheers for organizing everything, ringo, top notch. Cheers to everyone who has participated throughout the year, was a really pleasant ride. And cheers to George who has been able to keep this going in spite of the Tour complications. Let's hope it was the first and final time it happened. |

Hmm, 10th for the 2nd year in a row. Perhaps I should adopt an all or nothing strategy and go for race wins instead of playing it safe and trying to stay near the top each race.
Congrats to Ember for winning, Ian for a good run, and thanks to Ringo and George for their parts in letting us do this.

Thanks to Ringo and George for another great year of fantasy cycling despite the kill joys at ASO. Thanks to alex for the unofficial TdF results.
The fantasy for me was expecting my teams to score Better luck next year.
Congrats to ember for the win and to ian for another super year, hope we can have another thrilling finish next year!

Okey so I want to also join in congratulations to @ember for his overall win and to @ianrussell for his great consistency and great top 10 overall velogames standing.
@ringo182 thanks for administration of this PCMdaily Velogames championships and thanks to @alex for his unofficial results during TDF.
I consider this season as success for me. I won Tour de Romandie, lost by 3 points to Timo in Tour de Suisse, finished 9th in Spring Classics and then 3rd in Autumn Classics. Overall I finished 13th in our PCM championship so I am looking forward to next year and I hope I will make it to top 10 here and win something
@thanks to all pcm members who are participating and I hope that in next year there will be even more of us. I am looking forward for updates from ringo182 for next season.
Cheers!
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
