Yep, definitely rigged Sorry I couldn't make it, but thanks anyway Ewan, but you may have mixed my votes up with another countries?

Unfortunate that it was rigged. I've got some serious issues with the voting system.
1, which is the big one, you can't make up a countries votes at all and especially not put yourself in the top3 if you do. F*cking immature thing to do.
2, being able to still vote after the results have begun being posted. It just allows people to alter their votes and have a greater impact on the results.
What was a great competition has left a rather bitter taste knowing it wasn't the 'real' outcome, and that's coming from someone who has never taken this seriously!

@TMM, if it makes you feel any better I didn't look at the scoreboard before doing England's votes late, if I had of done then Iceland would have got my 12 and France my 10 because they were still in with a shot of winning and Of Monsters and Men are one of my favourite bands so it would have been nice to see them win it again but Midnight City is one of my favourite songs so I voted that 12 instead.
The fact I didn't look at the scoreboard before voting ended up being the difference between Iceland missing out by 2 points and finishing level so not tactically voting and not looking at the votes already posted did make a huge difference.

I can assure you that it wasn't rigged. I wanted to change my vote still after the results already had been comming in, i got a stone hard no back, even though it was in favor of Scotland (Ewan's country). If my new vote would have gone through it would've ment that scotland got my 12 points, which made them tie for the win... I honnestly think it isn't rigged at all.

What if people actually liked scotland's song? You can't immediately think that all votes were changed to his preference or made up. If it happened that votes got mixed up, it could've been an attention lapse or something similar. But from what i can see my votes weren't made up (Belgium).

Just to make it clear, I did not rig the votes. How I have always done the votes for these who didn't bother to send their own in, is that I keep the final result as it is, but I narrow the points to make the voting process more exciting. I infanct didn't set out to win because I knew this issue would arise if I did win. The proper result if it wasn't for the ones I had to make up, would've given Finland the win with a somewhat big gap down to Iceland and Scotland, but since people like TMM and Jandal didn't vote, I had to do something about it. This is how I always work for withstanding votes in the DSC.
Side note - Congratulations to Finland, deserving winner. Thanks to everyone for taking part yet again for what could be the best DSC ever.

I won't take sides in Rig-Gate, rather just thank everyone for Greece's highest ever finish. Top 5!

To make it clear, I skyped Ewan to clear up what happened, and as I was saying to sutty, it was so close because Ewan rigged it to be more exciting. Not how well Scotland did. Let that be the end of it, another smoothly run contest Ewan and sorry to let you down like that
EDIT: Ewan technically did nothing wrong, I may not like it but the result is he same. Congrats to everyone, you all deserved it as that's where you would have came anyway

I'm fair enough to congratulate to all podium members, Finland, Iceland and Scotland, who all deserved it. Thank you Ewan again for hosting the Contest and see you next in Finland! |

Well i'd seriously disagree that the result wasn't altered. Greece 'got 8 points' from the USA which they didn't actually get, which gave Greece 4th place ahead of the USA in 5th. Brazil moved ahead of Germany and would be tied in 18th with Slovenia. Iceland moved into 2nd ahead of Scotland thanks to their 6 points from the USA. Finland gained 5 points etc etc.
Take away all the USA points and the top positions don't change but they do further down the order, so the result is not correct. Add in a second 'faked' nation and it can get real messy. Three or more 'faked' nations/World Jury and wow we have a sitcky situation FIFA would be proud of.
If the 'faked' nations have zero affect on every nations final position then i wouldn't mind, i'd applaud Ewan for the added drama in what could otherwise be a very dull part of the DSC. But i can show for a fact that at least two nations are higher than they should be because of the 'faked' votes.
As for the ability to vote tactically after the first results have been posted sammy proved my point entirely. Certainly i know that i didn't vote, when Ewan told me i still could, because my votes would be skewed to benefit my own chances or the chances of countries i liked.
For the next competition i'm just suggesting some really simple changes. No voting allowed after the first results are posted, how this isn't already in place astounds me frankly. And don't 'fake' any nations voting.

But if a Nation doesn't vote, they have an advantage over the other countries, because they can't not vote for themself. |

And add the Zero votes rule - if a nation receives 0 votes then it's ineligible to enter the following event |
