You're right, Freitas. I've hated my username ever since realising how pathetic it is to name yourself after a rider...
How rude I dont know about you, but I just named myself something quick so I could download things from the download section
And changing it would be weird.
Also really awesome to see Veilleux win in Quebec. Hopefully he can win it in real life sometime
Results seem really realistic too.
Sorry, sorry, sorry... The statement only applies to me, okay?
And yeah, I also just picked something quick. Took a rider I liked at the time, plus a number - just because I was sure that "Pellizotti" would already be used by someone.
Veilleux's win really was awesome! I'm a big fan of him after your story - both in the game and irl.

Isn't everyone?
I didn't follow/read the entire story, but he's got me, too
Now got the same with Team Pomme Marseille here. If Evaldas wins something this year, I'll be really happy

I'll also cheer for him in real races, Ian!
1.HC: Paris-Bourges
Time to starting winding down a bit, with just a couple of races left on the schedule. Still some important HC racing left on home ground however. Once again a race for the classics specialists, taking place on a circuit that includes several shorter climbs, along with an uphill finish.
Discounting the obvious favourite, Luis-Leon Sanchez - my eyes are drawn towards a man who've shown good form lately: Pellizotti. The competition is a bit more fierce than in the previous races, so this will be more of a test for him. The home nation will meanwhile put their hopes in Hivert I think.
For us, it looks the same as in all the last few races. Koretzky, Perichon and Skujins will try their uttermost to score us valuable points, even though it's obviously going to be hard in a race filled with strong teams.
The race kicks off and for a long time continues in a very pleasant way for the riders. The break is formed by just two riders already in the day's first attack, allowing the peloton to roll on slowly, led by BMC and Vacansoleil.
The attacks are nowhere to be found, as the race gradually speeds up towards the end. The ice finally breaks when Stefan Denifl pops clear on the final lap's big climb. Delaroziere covers the move for us, with our leaders staying cool near the front of the peloton.
The first attack comes from Denifl.
Denifl sits up almost immediately, after not being able to create a gap. Delaroziere therefore continues on his own - opening up a twenty-second gap before anyone notices.
Delaroziere escapes in the final 5 km.
The gap extends to 30 seconds a few seconds later, after a lot of looking around back in the main field. Dirk Bellemakers manages to escape as well. He catches up with Delaroziere just as they pass under the kilometer mark - still over half a minute clear of the rest!
Delaroziere trying to hold off Bellemakers!
Pre-race favourite Sanchez leads out the sprint from the peloton already before flamme rouge - desperately trying to close down the gap. Koretzky makes sure to follow the right wheels, while also trying to stall the sprint a bit.
The front duo prove to have just about enough energy left. Delaroziere really suffers on the steep climb up to the finish, but just about tops Bellemakers to the line - snatching his first win of the year!
The favourites almost comes back at the leaders in the end, but a sprint for third is all they get today. Koretzky is the one who takes that prize, edging out Pellizotti in a photofinish.
Delaroziere can't believe what happened!

Please note that the victory was mainly thanks to the fact that I know that course extremely well. I've learnt where it's best to attack after playing it a lot of times.
1.HC: Paris - Tours
The squad we're fielding isn't at all different to the one we've been using in all the recent races. However, the expectations are much lower this time - knowing that this race is likely to end up in a mass sprint. Since our chances are basically zero in a sprint, we'll try to focus on attacks instead.
Cavendish and Degenkolb will face each other once again, after the intense battle at the worlds. The man in the rainbow jersey is likely to be the quicker of the two again, since Kittel is most likely Argos' leader.
Other strong contenders are French champion Demare, Serebryakov the win-machine and an in-form Drucker. You can see for yourself that the quality of this field is a lot better than in most other races we've been in.
To the surprise of no one, the peloton is controlled by Sky and Argos all day. However, they both interestingly disappear as we hit the most decisive part of the race: the Beausoleil hills in the final 20 km.
Instead, BMC takes over. Their plan becomes obvious when Ballan attacks near the top of the final climb - only to look back over his shoulder and realise no gap emerges! The move helps us a lot tho, as Koretzky uses it as a launchpad for a new attack - just as they pass over the top.
Koretzky goes all in with a big attack!
After a short daredevil descent, he finds himself a few seconds clear of the field. This is when weirdness strikes. Nobody decides to start chasing!
In the matter of seconds, Koretzky's gap extends to just under a minute!
Cavendish eventually panics and calls on Thomas to take him to the front. Kittel and Petit immediately tag on in the attempt to close down the man in front.
How did he get all the way up there?
Not even a heroic four-kilometer pull from Thomas is enough. The sprinters all kick off under the flag, only to watch Koretzky raising his arms in celebration a few hundred meters in front of them!
Victoire pour Koretzky!
The mass sprint for second place is shockingly won by Kevin Peeters. Cavendish and Kittel both stay behind Thomas for too long, and then couldn't make up the lost ground. Bacquet completes the unexpected podium.

Thanks all!
This is by far my favourite part of the season. All AI riders are tired from too many race days, while your team is fresh - as long as the planning is done right.
1.1: Chrono des Nations
Paillot is the only man with any burden on his shoulders as we enter this classic one-day time trial race. The other five we've decided to let take place next to him are just here to fill the required squad size.
David Zabriskie would normally be considered the huge favourite in this field, but I'm not really sure. Julien Vermote has showed impressive development throughout this season, and will be a serious contender to Captain America.
Those two aside, I can only see Patrick Gretsch and our own Paillot as potential winners. Riders like Laszlo Bodrogi, Jérémy Roy and Jan Barta are of high quality, but not quite at the top of things today.
Out of the first half of the field, Kristof Vandewalle is the only one to complete the 47 kilometers at a speed worth mentioning.
Vandewalle - 1h09'40
The Belgian's time stands at the top for a long, long time. Only when the last line of riders start to arrive at the finish, he gets a little challenged.
Eventually, he gets knocked out completely. It takes all the way until the fourth last man to finally lift things a level. That's right - Paillot!
After catching his two-minute man, Manuele Boaro, already halfway through the race, he reaches the finish with an amazing time. The crowd goes crazy as he cuts the line - a minute and a half faster than Vandewalle!
Paillot - 1h08'10
Pre-race favourite Zabriskie pushes on tremendously hard all the way through the race, but simply can't match Paillot's insane ride!
The former American champion at least takes a clear provisional second place.
Zabriskie - 1h08'29
Gretsch can't reach his normal level today and eventually clocks a time well over a minute slower than Paillot's. Good enough for third with just one man remaining.
Gretsch - 1h09'23
That leaves only one man.
Vermote opens the race very hard, and takes the lead on both early time checks - something he would later regret, as he gradually loses speed as the end comes closer.
He suffers all the way to the line, only to find himself half a minute short of Paillot! It's consecutive victory number three for us!
Vermote - 1h08'40
