@miguel - Wiles will try to live up to the expectations a bit more, he is also not content with the Trentino results.
Our Tour de Romandie squad inludes two climbing guns, a mountain domestique, a sprinter, and the sprinter's helpers. That's our Giro squad (+ Groen), so take a look at it wisely. These riders are going to be the key cyclists in the coming days.
Startlist:
GC
*** Froome, T.Martin, Puskaric
** A. Schleck, Wiles, Sánchez
* Vandenbroeck, Cunego, Van Garderen |

Let's hope that Puskaric does good. If not, I will kill either Wiles of him. |

A really short prologue kicks off this years Tour de Romandie, and time-gaps shouldn't be too big after it.
The biggest favourite of the prologue was WCITT champion Tony Martin, who did beat everybody starting before him. His time was 4'39. (Wiles at +32s)
The younger Schleck brother was the 3rd to last to come out, and completed the course in 4'59. That's not too bad from him, considering he is surely not in topform yet.
After Andy, our croatian rider, Kristjan Puskaric came, who finished 16s down on Martin. A bit below the average performance, but he doesn't have to well in this race, if he does great in the Giro.
The biggest favourite of the race, Sky's Froome was the last one to go, and he got 8th, 4s down Tony Martin, who took the leader's jersey and the stage-win.

@IanButler - you have sense to these things...
A hilly stage, with some steep climbs, and these climbs are most likely going to destroy the sprinters. Watch out for the punchy finishers at the end of the stage, ie. Cunego, Rui Costa.
This stage started really fast, and it took a long time for the BotD to get established. Strangely, the U25 jersey holder Vermote was enabled by the peloton to join the break.
The peloton let the break get a quite big lead, and then, magically Lampre and Garmin realised the danger and started the chase. This was the end of the break, I can sey. Garmin put the hammer down, and shattered the field. It really streched the peloton, splits happened, and this pace also prevented attacks. That was really important for us, as that way we could organise our train better.
Our train consisted of 3 riders. In order: Mellberg, Wiles, Puskaric. We decided to let Kristjan sprint, as he was feeling the best. Jan hit the front and pulled the train to around 2.5kms. Then Jack took over, and started to sprint really fast, and created a little space between us and the peloton.
At the 1km mark it was Kristjan's time to finish the job. Gerrans closed in fast on the right side, but...
..this wasn't enough, because Kristjan Puskaric is the winning the stage! What a great win, with the help of his teammates! Gerrans finishes 2nd, and the norwegian Jack Wiles gets 3rd, after setting up his teammate perfectly! What a succes for the PT newcomer canadian team!

Today's profile is really similar to yesterday's but it's a little bit easier, with less climbs. However, the main characteristics remained the same. Our team will try to get a good result, like yesterday.
Once again, the daily break formed quite late, and got a big lead. Today it wasn't Lampre, but OPQS who chased them down, in order to keep Tony Martin's jersey. They also wanted to prevent any attacks, so they kept the pace high. As our team saw that, we prepared to make our sprint train again.
This time we put Bahr (he didn't have too much energy) first and then the "classic" lineup followed. Just as Mellberg took over the peloton caught, late attacker, Brutt, and the swede started his pulll. He quickly hit the front, and then at 2.5 passed the lead to Wiles, who lead Puskaric into a perfect position.
However, despite the great train, Grega Bole got front off Puskaric, and had plenty of lead at the last 600m. Puskaric was closing in really quickly, can he?
Yes, he can! He makes it 2 in a row, after a brilliant finish! Bole takes the 2ns, and Sky's Nordhaug get the 3rd. What a win again, that was great TEAMWORK by the SpiderTech - Cervélo team!
