@ all: To make it clear --> yes, I quit with the story after this season. So no successor or what so ever. Further, really thanks for the replies. I hope that this story has and will inspire many otehr storywriters to start or continue a long lasting story (for sure Ian has one finally ). But no mourning yet, there are some reports coming up (not today, but in the near future).

No!! It can't be. I refuse to believe it. But I guess I can. After you hit 200 pages I kind of sensed that it would happen, and I feared it. Now it is true. This was by far the best story on Daily that I've seen in terms of staus for a sustained amount of time. It will be missed by the entire site. I wish it would keep going, but I guess everything comes to an end. 253 pages is a lot for a story to end on.
Maybe I should put the dead stories RIP back in my sig.
You better give us plenty of Monster girls in this ending.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Well, I guess it had to stop at some point I can't pay enough respect for what you've done here, just great work! I'm looking forward to the last reports and maybe a nice review of the past 4 years (and sure, I wouldn't say no to one or two monster girls ).

It's been an amazing journey with this team. I'm glad to have been a part of it.
Spend much time with your wife and baby now.
The most amazing thing with this story is that it was your first and only story ever.
Thanks |

@ baseballlover312: Your senses were right. Thanks.... And of course there will be some Monster girls coming at the end of the story!
@ cunego59: Hadn't thought about a career review, but that is an option indeed.
@ Daggen: I'm relieved that you aren't mad, and you don't want to smash And baby... the kid is 1 years old now, and is about to start walking, so I'll spend my time chasing him constantly
@ Schleck96: Thanks, but there are still a few races left!
@ baia: Thanks man. And I'll love to see you returning with a story, as long it has the quality of your Movistar one
Since my cyclo ride got cancelled by myself due to rain (100km of the Zuid Veluwe klimtour for those interested, and hey, I don't wanna get wet and have to clean the bike again), I'll have some time today to post the WC results and maybe some short reports of the following races (Franco-Belge, maybe SParkassen Giro).

No, no reports. That'll only bring us closer to the end
Love how the ride got cancelled...by yourself |

I followed this from first to the last page, and commented only once. This was farly the best story since 2010 (when i joined) (i guess even before). It's so,so sad that you have to stop. But you know what? I have an idea, maybe you can give .cdb to someone with PCM11 , or someone can make same team and continue as new manager of Petronas Monster Energy in next season? I guess it won't be same as now, but, just an idea.
Really shame that you're going to stop. Best of luck with family

Sorry, but no. Reason is that this was my story, and I feel that everybody should make their own story, not copying or continuing someone else his story.

UCI World Championships
ITT
Swiss Fabian Cancellara wins his 6th world ITT title, with British Wiggins and Thomas taking silver and bronze. Our riders really suck, with Bobridge as the best in 21st and Dekker in 22nd.
Road Race
So the Vuelta was the race that had to be raced to get in form for the Worlds. 3 riders have battled it out for the win, and it's Gerald Ciolek who becomes the surprising winner. He beats Peter Sagan in the sprint, with Carlos Barredo in 3rd. So a nice silver medal for the team. Further, Gregory Bernard gets a nice 7th place, with Thomas Dekker and Marcel Kittel in 13th and 14th.

WC TT in Valkenburg and WC RR in Stuttgart?? That's odd
