Yeah, and next year you'll even have better leadouts with Kittel, Degenkolb & Veelers
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Jesleyh: Indeed, it's been a big moment for their careers
Ollfardh: I think it'll be the other way around, but maybe the year after
SSJ2Luigi: Sorry to let you down
Stromeon: They sure are I'm not active on twitter on real life, so I'm just guessing something

A portrait of Stijn Van Gent and Willy Wouters by Jan Verplanken - Het Nieuwsblad
Stijn Van Gent, best known for his recent winning streak at the Tour of wallonie, is a 22-year old Belgian, active in the Lotto Belisol squad. He's been getting himself on the map with a podium at Dwars Door Vlaanderen en consistent riding in the cobbled classics.
Willy Wouters, only 21, has had some great results in Argentina, Austria and Wallonie. He's been accused of doping by the entire world, but in the end he proved to be innocent. He's now back to racing and winning.
We found the two men in Wallonie, packing their bags. They've shared a hotel room for the race, as they usually do. The two men are friends, have been since their 12 year of age. We offer to do a double interview and they seem enthusiastic.
How will it feel, returning home, after such an amazing week here?
Stijn: It'll feel strange. I'm going to miss it, I can't explain it. This week has been an amazing ride and I feel sad that it's ending now.
Willy: I agree with Stijn. It's always great riding around with a superb team, and when you can win a stage, that's just amazing.
You've both won a stage, at least, and Stijn takes three jerseys, while Willy finishes on the podium. What will this do for your careers?
Willy: For me, this is incredibly important. I'm making a major statement here. I can leave the past behind me now and say: I've done this all clean, I'm still here.
Stijn: I'm not thinking about the future too much, already. For now, I'm just incredibly happy and I hope to stay this way. I'm starting to develop some decent sprinting skills, and I hope to use them a lot in the future.
Willy, you talk about the past. How hard were the past few months?
Willy: I'd rather not talk about that. All I'll say is this: I never did anything wrong, and I wish people'd see me as a rider who just finished 3rd here, instead of the rider who's been (wrongly) accused of doping.
That's all the people need to hear. You are both moving to Argos next year, what do you expect to find there?
Stijn: That's an odd question. But anyway, I hope I can lead the cobbled classics early in the season. I'm hoping for some top 15 places, maybe. Further on, I'll be looking for some sprinting chances, but I might end up in the lead-out for one of their major sprinters. If so, I hope to learn a lot from him, which I'm sure will happen!
Willy: What do I expect to find there? I guess I'm just looking for a chance to prove what I'm worth. I hope I can repay them for the chance they're giving us, maybe ride my first Grand Tour.
What will Stijn Van Gent and Willy Wouters bring us in the future?
Stijn: Lots of action, hopefully.
Willy: The long-awaited Belgian Tour winner [laughs]. I guess we'll both do our best to get the best out of ourselves. Be the best riders possible. We'll see where that leads us.
What happens now? Do you both go home?
Stijn: I'll return home and start preparing for the Eneco Tour. I'm very much looking forward to that! Afterwards I'll ride some one day races and finally end the season in Paris- Bruxelles.
Willy: I'll return home but only for a day or so. In two days, I'll be flying out to America, to participate in some races there, with the Tour of Colorado being the highlight. I'll finish my season alongside Stijn. Then we make the move to Argos.
We see you're ready to go now, the cars are waiting. One more question: Who will the World Championship this year?
Willy: You're already thinking about that? It's not even August, man!
Stijn: Hard to say, my guess is... Gilbert.
Willy: I second that.
Thank you very much, and good luck to you!

I feel dumb now. I saw the TdF podium, but didn't notice it, if you know what I mean

JuanMotr&Jesleyh: The TDF podium wasn't my doing that's just the game, my skills don't go as high as that. The paint-skills are in the screenshot above the podium They've gone more unnoticed this time, it means my skills are getting better!
PCM rulezz: I sure hope so! The competition will be harder in the Eneco Tour, not sure about the American races, though |

SSJ2Luigi: Good for you
PCM rulezz: Just a bit more practice and I can go work for Vogue, photo-shopping models
krisa: Thanks, it's what they do best
JuanMotr: Actually I thought you couldn't see. I just thought you had developed your smelling skill so high that sight was unnecessary for you
Daggen: Thanks!!
FreitasPCM: Always great to hear someone likes the interview, thank you
It's happened again. I overslept
But as usual, I'll find some time, this evening! Then the Tour of the Elk Grove will kick off. Though it'll probably be a short report, only a prologue and 2 flat stages, nothing for Willy. |

Thanks, Jakstar, should be raced this evening. I'm thinking of giving myself a day off tomorrow, but I'm not sure yet much will depend on my evaluation of how far I actually am in my current task that's due next week |
