I have read that but not quiet grasping what this means did he just install in the file selected, cyanide folder? Sorry if im sounding a bit thick but again im not very good at this sort of thing but found that your databases make the games twice as good! |

I re-installed the Daily (16GB), the file "f.e. sbrand.tga" isn't in the folder "ProCyclistPhoto" :/
Well there was no need to reinstall it completely heh. Just re-extract the ProCyclistPhoto to the correct location. Also make sure you install V1.1 after that.
I re-installed the Daily completely because I thought there was maybe a problem when I downloaded it the first time. When I look at the folder "ProCyclistPhoto" before extract it, rider pictures I don't have, are not in it. So I guess it's useless to re-extract ? I've already installed V.1.1, do I need to re-install it ? |

No you don`t have to reinstall it, because you did it .
Assuming you have install it correctly, the most probable reason why your "procyclistphoto" is empty, is because your documents folder is not at the default location (maybe you changed it). So you have to take the "procyclistphoto" folder in the ZIP file and copy it to the "right" location in your documents folder. |

It would be so much easier if gamedevelopers didn`t rely on the MyDocuments folder and just worked with that folder you installed the game in ...
Then again, if your default path is c:\program files, that doesn`t help either |

The main reason software programmers are using the My Documents folder is because it is user-specific and the Program Files folders are not.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

Hi guys...so I finally got the job done with the race calendar. It cost me a lot of time but now I have a complete list of "bugs" (no game breaking bugs).
I made a list of the following things: wrong category, wrong date, race is not in UCI calendar (several reasons), wrong or better race names and 7 missing .1 races (so we have ALL UCI races from WT to .1).
BUT, I say it clearly here: this is not a YOU HAVE TO list 
This list should give you an overview of all incorrect things, but things like names of races are very subjective to change.
Or the bunch of GBR and USA races that have NO UCI status...I know it's an English forum and this is certainly why you choose them even if they are wrong (but I'm perfectionist so I have them in the list, I hope you excuse  ).
Please feel free to ask if there are questions or things not clear.
I could also help you with the editing stuff of the list, IF you have need for it .
And again...GREAT work, I love this database and forum

Thanks a lot Torpedo Tom, the list looks like great. It will help us a great deal.
Some of the things have already been corrected for the 1.2 version, the others will be or we will discuss whether it is worth it to change them. Sometimes we have to make compromises and not everything can be as realistic as possible.

No problem togo95...like I said before it should help but is in no mean a have to list. BUT i tried to find ALL issues...sometimes it drive me crazy to be such a perfectionist 
I will try to keep track of ALL next changes from the team to reduce the list. So after the last version i can decide to change things left in the list or not

By the way, I have the intention to make a list for important records (like contador 3 vuelta wins, froomes records, nibali winner of ALL GT, and every other driver's wins who could realistically break a record in game). |

Ok, thank you for your advice. But my folder "Procyclistphoto" isn't empty at all. I've all the riders of the DB in it except a few (new riders who were not in Daily 2015 I guess) for an unknown reason. My documents folder is in the default location.
I really think that a few riders are missing in my ZIP file and I don't know why. I say that because I've 2273 pictures in the ZIP file and also in My Documents. I think I should have more than 2273 rider pictures. |

Yes Ronan you're right. In the ZIP file there are 2273 pictures BUT in my"ProCyclistPhoto" folder in MyDocuments I have 2558...so I guess they came with the Update v1.1 . So probably the Update has not installed all updated photos? |

No, what I mean is that it's different for each user of the computer. So for example you can have different settings and save games than another person using your computer with a different user account.

Well, if you are not administrator and want to add stages/databases or other features, you wouldn't be able to do so without the admin rights if the game only used the Program files location (depending on the settings ofc). So it is partly because of that too.

I made a mistake too, I've 2558 also in my"ProCyclistPhoto" folder in MyDocuments. But with only 2558 pictures in this folder, do you have (in the game) the picture of Sam Brand (Novo Nordisk Development) for example ?. I think the problem is that I've not ''f.e. sbrand.tga'' as matt17br said. But I don't know what it is and how to get it.
I'm sorry to ask such numerous questions only for a little issue. |

What Matt meant was the file "sbrand.tga" (f.e. is an abbreviation for "for example" ). Can you check if you have that one?

If you are indeed going to do that, it would be awesome if you could already write it in an excel spreadsheet. Doesn't necessarily need to be formatted like STA_records, although that would be ideal of course.

Yes, I mentioned it in a PM to matt. I think it's not much more work, because the research takes the most time. I will try to give you a first version at the end of the week, at least before update 1.2 after LBL. And maybe I can continue with it for further versions.
Also I have the idea to make the records for the overview of each year (5 monument wins, most wins per season, top 3 GT, points and mountain winner of GT,...). But it's a lot, so it would be a continuous work.
The idea is to have an improved record and palmares database. I think Cyanide didn't do much on this the last years, so we could use this work for future PCMs. Am i right ? |
