Interesting match day. With three matches left, sammy has really made a grab for the title. jaxika profits from trek's absence to sort of keep up with sammy.
Some have been knocked out of the competition. Selwink, Vali, jihardy, Marsupilami and jandal won't be champions any time soon. Mathematically, anyone else still has a chance. But realistically speaking, sammy, jaxika and matt will fight for the top spot, with weirdskyfan still an outside bet.
Also, it's nice to see jandal grab his second victory in this league. 12 match days in, he was bound to get a win at least once more!
Match of the Week: Sammy plays it smart against Luigi and takes 3 very important points. This might be the turning point in the league. In three match days, we might look back at this as the tipping point of the entire competition.

Hmm not a good situation, good streak in the last few matches but I keep on losing points because of either opponents quitting against my rivals or because of 3 points wins while I prefer playing it different.

There are only 2 match days left now. Weirdskyfan shoots himself in the foot completely by forfeiting his match. This also means that with 2 matches left, we'll have a three way battle for the League Title. Sammyt93 is the big favorite and will defend a 4-point lead over Matt and jaxika, who are tied for second place.
And guess who faces whom next match day? Jaxika vs Matt!
Marcovdw has been picking up his game again, but his efforts came too late. Still, it's not too late to challenge for the 2nd place!

Welcome to the Final of the Butler Cup!
jaxika meets marcovdw for the big trophy of the season. Two big players meet face to face to challenge for this prestigious cup.
Jaxika has a bronze medal at the previous World Championships. More than that, he's one of the only 3 left in contention for this League Title. Can he juggle both at this point? If somebody can, it's jaxika.
Marcovdw is the hero of the people, the player for the man in the street. He is very human, down to earth, and has ups and downs. No cold killer like Vali, no intimidating monster like Waghlon, no risk-taker like matt17br and no sniper like sammyt93. Marcovdw is simply... Marcovdw.
Let the games begin!
Jaxika opens with a 7. This is a relative aggressive approach, going for set 1 in a calculated yet aggressive way. Let's see how Marcovdw counters this move...
Marcovdw puts a 3 against it. He gives away this set without too much trouble and keeps something in reserve. No rushing into this match.
This puts jaxika in the winning position. On to...
Will jaxika take this set - and the game - too? He shows his hand... 1! The defensive pose. Enough to take any 0 but not a hand you need to win a set.
Marcovdw was banking on this set and comes out with a 10!
And this gives us set 1-1.
And so we're ready for the final round. Marcovdw has made a tactical error in his second set, we see. He's very nervous.
Jaxika opens with a 12. He's kept his big guns for the final set. Marcovdw hadn't expected this! He has a 7, but it's not enough. Jaxika takes the Butler Cup!
A big congratulations to both finalists but especially to jaxika. Now can he do the legendary double and win the League Title? He already has this Trophy, so the pressure is off a bit!

Congratulation jaxika. Beat me fair and square.
So no silverwear this season but nevertheless a podium finish in the league is still within reach. That will be the main goal for the remainder of the season.
