A Massive congratulations go out to Mark Cavendish for not only achieving his first stage win for Eddie Stobart Procycling at the Eneco Tour but he also carried off the Overall race win too as well as the Points Classification too.
Lets hope that this success is the first of many more to come |

After the highs of the Eneco Tour the team have been brought down to earth with a bump after what can only be described as an unacceptable performance here in Lincoln.
The guys arrived here in good spirit but with a highest placing of 67th by Nathan Earle that mood was soon forgotten and replaced by disbelief at the total lack of action from the guys in green and red.
Team Director for the race Chris Boardman insisted that results had to improve from now until the end of the season or riders contracts would have to be seriously reconsidered.

That has to go down as the most embarrassing result the team has ever had in its short history, the team didn't manage to get one finisher here in Russia. |
