Qatar live broadcast just started.

Lots of echolons and obviously also some crashes led to a huge selection.

OPQS with full team in the small lead group. Also Eisel, Demare, Sieberg, Roelandt... in there.

Greipel and Boom??? ~40s back

Cancellara even 2:30 behind

Boom with no joy with an attempted late escape and Boonen super strong to take the sprint by miles from Roelandts and is that Morkov? Think he got 2nd there?

Yes. Belkin's late attempt backfired into that headwind too, to the tune of 5 seconds lost for Boom.

I chose Greipel as my leader for February in the Fantasy Game thinking he has a good chance to win a HC race and a few stages as well, but he is nowhere Sad

Omega Pharma - Quick-Step and the wind are causing havoc at (1.1) Trofeo Ses Salines as well. At one stage there OPQS had a front group of just 13 riders, with eight of their own present.

I picked Boonen pretty much based solely on Qatar, where he has a superb track record.

Boonen is god in Qatar, because he needs hard stages, and Qatar always provides them. King Tom!Cool

Sbaragli with a nice top10 after Ciolek crashed out.

Good to see Swift up there again, Modolo showing some form, wonder what happened to OPQS - 3rd and 4th and 7th suggests not the best use of resources but haven't seen it mind.
