Dutch nationalism He will be leading out Cavendish
That's not even nationalism. That's just plain stupidity.
Plain stupidity huh
I meant by the Dutch commentators of course. There's a reason I only watch Sporza.
Edit: Damn they were right.

Brilliant stage. Completely unexpected.
Couldnt be a more deserved win for OPQS and Cavendish. |

Jakob Fuglsang getting a free ride in to the Top 10 at the moment. Good for him and Astana.
6th place, but not really a free rise. He has to be rewarded for staying awake and making it all alone unlike Froome etc. |

Because if you gain nothing, or not much, from working, you leave the work to the leader. That's how it works, unless you receive a "donation".

The way you're celebrating, can't remember you did that last year when Cav was riding for Sky

Awesome stage!
Great move by Saxo. And props to Quickstep and Belkin for creating the situation that made this possible. Deserved win for Quickstep.

Gain nothing or bury your guys for the coming stages while still gaining nothing.
Hmmm...decisions decisions.

Yes could have been like 2m. If not for certain French teams. |

Great race from OPQS, fully deserved that win.
And yeah, if not for a few retarded teams, Contador could've repeated his 2012 Vuelta, not being the best, but being the smartest at the right time. I'm very annoyed with the behaviour of a few teams.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

But if you think the GC places of those like Kreuziger are assailable then chasing it makes sense. Not everyone is here to fight for the win.
Is it great that people care this much about the difference between 6th and 7th for example? No. But that's how things work in this UCI points system.

Ooooh bloody coup here!
Most beautiful stage in the Tour I've ever seen I think, simply amazing.
Sagan with a perfect finish, no way he could've done that better, Cav just saved more energy and is faster.
But what a stage! |

Well whatever happens - Saxo and OPQS get a lot of credit for actually doing some proactive and attacking racing. They get a huge thumbs up from me - what cycling should be about

I don't understand why team not wanting to give 5 minutes to Contador and Fuglsang is bad tactics.
You dont understand that teams that have nothing to go for and will loose that time in the mountains anyways dont want to loose it?
Come on you cant be serious.
BMC and Katusha had nothing to fear, its not like Evans or Rodriguez can take enough time to get back into the race and go for a win against Froome.
There are only one person who can compete with Froome and thats Contador. |
