This is the most stupid, but somewhat, ridicoulos TTT i've ever seen in my life.
Why?
If you ask me, this route has been much better than the usual, flat routes.
One of the most 'stupid' ttt-routes was the ttt in the Tour of 2009. A lot of riders fell there and had to give up.

OPQ have really fucked that up, worse than Euskaltel and Lampre imo.
At least they were making the effort, but finishing with so many riders just shows a lack of overall effort...
On the plus side, yay Sky!

Puccio saying they didn't even know the rules and thought Cataldo was gonna take the jersey. That's why Cataldo crossed line first. Nice surprise for Puccio, not so for Cataldo .

I turned of the sound, what happened with the jersey? A mixup due to rules no one can follow?

Climbing depth mattered more as timetrial depth.

Has there been some change to how the leader is decided? I thought a "Stage Win" (being first over the line) would out weigh other positioning...

My guess is it goes by average finishing position, because of the sprint stage it goes to Puccio who was best placed of the 5 sky men to get the winning time today but normally it would be the opening stage where it would go to the first rider across the line.

Lowest sum when adding finish places from all stages together. It has always been this way.

Not necessarily, if they've done somewhat equivalent efforts and have a relatively similar level, it's normal that they finish with more than the minimal number of riders. |

I kinda fear the 55km timetrial when Sky is already so much better on such a short distance.
Wiggins could massacre the competition there... |

That sure was a pleasant gift for Puccio. But just the first round of Wiggins vs The People, and the first of some wins of the Brit. |
