@ Ian: It's "just" the Tour de Pologne... But very irritating.
@ Jesleyh: Van der Sande might be the new Jensie, looking at his Flat and stamina.
@ Miguel & SSJ2Luigi: it's time for a divorce!

Time to comment for once
I must admit I rarely do so, but I avidly follow this story, today was actually the first time in weeks I had to catch up more than one page
So congratulations on Gesink's Tour win, a very deserved one both for him personally and also for you of course, being a reward for all the great work you do with this already legendary story!
Do you know Bose is going to be a stage racer by looking at his limits, but obviously avoiding to reveal them?
His sprint seems to be comparably good as well, Wilco 2.0?
Keep up the great work!

Thanks a lot! And yes, I'm very happy about Gesink and the Tour-win.
About Bose: I've seen his max. skills, and he surprised me with some nice 80's

Stage 5
With the start and finish in Zakopane, 208 kilometres and 15 climbs, stage 5 is one mean stage. The total amount of height metres is 3733, so it matches with Liège-Bastgne-Liège or a nice mountain stage.
Thestory of this stage is pretty common the last months: breakaway creates gap of several minutes, no team wants to chase then, gap gets over 12 minutes, we decide to chase them, gap gets smaller, and other riders counterattack out of the peloton.....
Alessandro Ballan attacks out of the BOTD at the last climb, and cruises to his first win of the season. Thomas Löfkvist finishes in 2nd at 1'33. Greg Van Avermaet wins the sprint of the peloton (the others of the BOTD have been caught before the finish) at 2'49. No Haussler or Sagan? Well, Haussler attacks at the final hill, and both Kelderman and Sagan countered him. And the 3 created a margin of 30 seconds to the peloton, but that wasn't enough. So no time gaps, and Van der Sande keeps the GC-lead pretty easily.

Word from the DS
Of course..... Over 3700 height metres and more than 50 riders can follow the pace of the peloton. The focus for tomorrow is the stage win, not the GC.

Stage 6
The 6th stage can be sure be called the queen's stage: 11 KOTM-sprints, 16 climbs and a total of 3924 height metres in 194 kilometres from Bukovina to Bukovina Tartzsanska.
58km to go
We try everything to make it a very hard stage. And we succeed in doing it. Gregory Bernard is in the BOTD, collecting enough points to secure the KOTM-jersey, and the pace of the peloton is that high, taht evry climb, more riders get dropped. And while ascending for the 8th KOTM-sprint, the numbers 1 and 2 of the GC get dropped. Both Tosh Van der Sande and Stijn Devolder can't follow the pace anymore.
Finish
Both Gregory Bernard and Peter Sagan work their asses off to drop as many riders as possible. And on the final climb, only 8 riders remain in the leading group. Wilco Kelderman attacks with 2km to go, knowing it won't be enough for the GC-win, so the goal is the stage win. And he succeeds, taking another great win. Sky's Ángel Madrazo takes the 2nd place and becomes the new GC-leader.

Word from the DS
Thanks to some great team work, we've got the stage win that we wanted. But the GC-win is gone, due to that breakaway...

Stage 7
The final stage is a 129km circuit race in Krakow.
15km to go
The BOTD of 16 riders is leading the peloton by 2'15 with 15 kilometres to go. And in a pretty slippery cornery, the GC-leader Ángel Madrazo looses control of his front wheel and hits the tarmac. He causes a pile-up of over 70 riders, with also GC's 2nd Enrique Salgueiro and GC's 6th Tom Stubbe in it.
Finish
The pace of the peloton stalls and the 16 know they'll sprint for the stage win. Europcar's Florian Vachon wins it, his 2nd win of the year besides a stage in the Volta a Catalunya. Jeremy Roy gets 2nd and Maxime Vantomme 3rd.
The peloton finishes at 1'02, and the waiting starts how much time Madrazo and Salgueiro will loose. Madrazo finishes at 3'48, being helped by some team members, and wins the GC by 34 seconds. Salgueiro looses 4'20 and drops to 4th in the GC, meaning Kelderman takes an unexpected 3rd place.

So this is an unexpected 3rd place. The points and KOTM-jerseys are very nice, but the GC-podium seemed to be out of reach. Oh well, when the other riders crash....

*** Fabian Cancellara (Sky), Edvald Boasson Hagen (Dexia), Lieuwe Westra.
** Greg Van Avermaet (Sony Ericcson), Tyler Farrar (Garmin), Filippo Pozzato (BMC).
* Jetse Bol (Vacansoleil), Tejay van Garderen (Garmin), Johan Vansummeren (Rabobank).
Our Goal
Let's go for a stage win and a top 5 in the GC.
_______________________________________________________________________
Stage 1
Who else than Fabian Cancellara wins the prologue in the streets of Amersfoort. Tejay van Garderen was sitting in the hot seat for a long time, but Spartacus was 3 seconds faster. Our riders had a good start, with Westra in 5th, Dekker in 8th, Vanmarcke in 10th and Kittel in 16th.

Stage 2
Believe it or not, the 2nd stage of the Eneco Tour ends in a mass sprint!! Together with Team Sky, we do the work in the peloton and keep the ace that high, that the BOTD gets caught with 10km to go.
Both Astana (for Chris Sutton) and we set up a sprint train, and with Vermeltfoort-Vanmarcke-Dekker-Westra-Kittel, our train is pretty impressive. When Dekker stops his work at 2500m to go, and Westra starts his final lead out, Dekker seems to block the others, with some gap as a result for Westra & Kittel. This is a chance that our German doesn't waste, and he takes the win in Sint Willebrord, with a massive gap to Kenny van Hummel (M&M's) and Greg Van Avermaet (Sony Ericsson).

Stage 3
We enter Belgium in stage 3. 173 kilometres between Aalter and Ardooie. And again, the stage ends in a mass sprint!
This time, the preparation for the sprint is normal and again Marcel Kittel is the strongest! Kristof Goddaert (Vacansoleil) finishes in 2nd and José Joaquín Rojas in 3rd.
