Ok, interesting. valv and Paul, which sensitivity settings do you use for your controller?

I cant speak for Paul, but I think I just use the default settings. Im used to pushing the analog stick just slightly to the left or right to get the desired turn in game, its all about being precise, but I dont really notice how little I actually move it usually since its more of a reflex. I find with a wheel the "turn" of the wheel takes longer so I actually kind of prefer controller for video games.

The race is just around 48 hours away so who can make it and who can't? The preview will be up tomorrow.

How does it help the game to disqualify people from competing if they aren't able to do the first few races? I would have thought that the more people who take part the better - even if they can't take part all the time, so any move to willingly restrict the potential size of the field just seems odd to me.
Anyway. It's more likely that I will miss this week's race than take part. I may show up just before 8 tomorrow, but I am expecting to be busy then.

It is mostly to make space for more people, the max we can have on the server for a race is 18 people, (there are 20 slots but BBL and EwanWilson need to be on the server to stream) we currently have 16 drivers meaning that only two more can join. Plus, joining 2 races in 10 weeks shouldn't be a huge challenge |

If we limit the league to 20 members we're never going to have 20 people in a race. It would be naive to ever expect all members to be there.
I say we don't remove people and don't close applications. It's better to welcome everyone and come up with a system that determines who can race if more than 20 people want to be part of the race.
Also, drivers go before streamers

Personal preference really
Removed attendance list and you will not be disqualified if you don't attend two races in ten weeks |

Also if its that important for you guys, I could rent the server for 22 people next time and then we could have 20 drivers.

Zandvoort is a bit of an odd track with most of the corners being mid speed corners and the slow corners being quite long. There are two main straights on the track which will be the primary place for overtaking during the race. The track is a total of 4.3 km long and has 13 corners.
Paul23 - Paul is the fastest man on track and also loves the circuit so he is very fast. He will have to limit his mistakes though which could be hard
ryant - Not as fast but pretty quick, also a very careful driver which helped him secure 2nd place last race
stahli - Half a second off Paul and I know how good he is at racing (and it is very good)
jihardy - Fastish around the track and his consistency is a step up from Austria
SSJ2Luigi - Running 1:48-9s and is the king of consistency as he proved in the previous race
fjhoekie - Can do a 1:47 and is consistently doing 48s which is quite quick
SN - Pretty OK but a twitchy PS2 controller won't help him
TMM - Going in with just 4 laps but was very fast in the first attempt of rFactor
MurrayAdams - He says he has previous rFactor experience which means he is probably pretty good
dev4ever - N/A
Croatia14 - N/A
DubbelDekker - Mostly 1:50s so that is not very fast
Bikex - Same as DubbelDekker in pace
Waghlon - N/A
Cliche-au - Managed to do a 1:49.5 which is pretty fast, he is pretty new though...
Miguel98 - Running 1:50s which is around the pace of the back markers. Fast in the first sector which could be very helpful
