Yeah will be interesting to see how much he can develop in the coming years. I'm sure there's plenty left; he looks like a great bike rider and enjoys the racing by the looks of it. Certainly a gifted athlete.
The only changing of the sport I really know is when people do triathlons before or after a career. It's also not unusual for pro cyclist to start running when they ended their careers (for example, former Tour stage winner Totschnig has become a fanatic runner and barely rides anymore). But making it from running to cycling, I've never heard of that before. Anybody know someone?
5 time tour winner Jacques Anquetil was a runner until the age of 18.

Cyril Gautier signs with AG2r on a 3 year contract, solid singing for them and with Bernaudeau struggling to find a new sponsor it's not surprising to see the Europcar riders looking elsewhere

If you look at it from Movistar's side of things what have they got to lose? Unzue already said he was reducing the size of the squad so they have room, obviously Betancur is talented and he would come reasonably cheap, they already have columbians and others who speak his language so he might just feel a little more comfortable and you would think that any contract signed would have some type of clause in it about training and fitness and if not met they would be able to terminate his contract.

I think Uran going to Cannondale is a step up for him. Etixx might be a big team but they're really just focused on the classics and sprint stages. Uran despite being a contender in recent Giros always had a weak team around him for the mountains compared to his rivals, at least Cannondale has a number of climbers to support him. |

Exactly my thoughts! Its all bout that low risk, high reward, since he wont get close so what he is getting now. I reckon Movistar with its culture and riders will fit much better.
Im so excited! Used to be one of my favorites, I still like him, but he has ways to go to reach that level for me... Im sure that will come once (if....) he wins his first race. Venga Fatancur! |

Be interesting to see if Rolland also winds up at AG2R with him.

So just out of interest. Anybody can tell me who Froome's agent is now?
The most current info I've found so far, is that he was represented by Wasserman Media Group in 2013.
He's represented by his wife, who is also his manager and media officer. Yup, his wife.

Your post about that... woman was your 666th. Coincidence? I think not. She's as bad as him if not worse

Those would be great news! Although I would wait for some better results of him yet... Very good youngster and very good future helper for Quintana... or even reverse

One of my favorite youngsters and one of my favorite teams.... But I'm worried he won't get what he deserves in years to come if he stays.

That's the main problem of getting into such a big team being a promising youngster... Only a few get very very better...

So where is Nibali going? How long is his contract?
“Everybody was shouting in the radio: Aru, Aru, Aru…. Did you see who eventually gave me a bike? Martinelli. And how much time passed before I could start chasing? I made a mistake but I would perhaps have gone home anyway. What was the point in staying?”
“As I said, I was left abandoned. Even if I was feeling good. I was hoping to get through the first week without losing a lot of time. It’s frustrating that I’m going home without being able to demonstrate anything. But I’ve got to keep my mouth shut.”
