Schumacher is looking good and still has a chance on winning the title.
The plans have been slightly changed. Instead of starting with the Ultimate Racing League I might just continue with the Race Masters Evolved. If there are enough people willing to participate in the Ultimate Racing League I might do them both, but I haven't decided that yet.
With the season in its second half the transfer rumours are about to start and there are many seats free for next season. I'd like to ask the managers if they want to continue or that they'd prefer to quit at the end of this season, so new managers have a chance to join. Please let me know whether you'll continue or not!

I'd like for this to carry on, seems fun to look back on even if Travinski has been a pile of crap

Travinski is still the sixth car in the field and Gambino has had some good results. And you have a contract for next season already.

The race results are in! Although it was Sebastian Schumacher who had the pole position at his home grand prix, Antonio Panico managed to beat him with less than 3 seconds. Paul Rosanski completes the podium which eventually has two Germans on it. Panico extends his lead a bit to 14 points, but there are still six races to go.

And we're back to business, hopefully Panico can close in on that championship win.
Maybe you could find a way of keeping the teams and drivers from this game but using another series that lowers the difference between the cars and more importantly still keeps the driver characteristics in. To me that would be an important thing as even with equal cars there is a sense of some drivers being better than others or some drivers suiting certain setup's or tracks better.

Tonight I found an editor for the game which gives me the opportunity to edit the car and drivers speed in both race and qualifying. I'll try to use that, f.e. drivers will receive more experience during the season and the technical aspect will have even more influence.
I hope there still are people who want to continue with a second season, because I've already heard that some of them want to stop, which is understandable after such a long break.

Next season there'll be some changes. I recently found an editor which gives me the opportunity to edit both the cars' speed and the drivers' ability both in qualification and race. Here are some points:
- Technical character: The driver's positive technical character will have more influence in making the car faster/more reliable.
- Professionalism character: The driver's ability will slightly be better.
- Age will have influence on the experience of drivers and their ability.
I'm going to test the editor soon, maybe I'll add some more points. I hope this will make the racing league a more realistic. If you have any ideas please let me know.
There are some free places for next season so if you're interested to join please let me know. Unfortunately you can't create a driver by yourself so you have to choose one which is available for next season. Soon I'll post a list with the drivers without a manager for next season.

Startlist Second Season
With the transfer season coming soon we're already publishing the starting list for next season. Some managers will quite at the end of the season, so at the moment there are already three places free, so sign up now! If you want to sign up, please choose one of the drivers without a manager. Take a look at the first two pages to see the characteristics of the driver.
Notes:
- Only the drivers with a startnumber are sure of a place at the moment, so there might come some more free places to join.
- Paul23 and jaxika have chosen the same start number. Can one of you guys please change his choice?
- The managers who are in italic haven't confirmed their participation and/or chosen their start number yet. The deadline for this is 10 June. (It's always possible to (re)join after that, if there are still free spaces).
- If you want to join, please choose a driver without a manager and post it here.
- Drivers with a contract for next season but without a manager will only get their seat if there are still places left, otherwise the contract isn't valid. If the driver gets a new manager he has to stay at the team with which he has a contract.

Race 9 - Italy - Adria - Preview
The next race on the calender is the second and last one in Italy, in Adria. Adria is quite a short circuit and the lap times should be a bit more than one minute. Overtaking is very difficult so a bad qualification can be funest. The best overtake position is at the end of the straight, but the start-finish straight is quite short so even there it's difficult. A good pitstop and strategy is important as well. Will the race be very boring, or can we still get some interesting actions on the circuit?
Note: From now on managers are allowed to post their weekend expectations themselves, as well as the pre/post-qualification/race reactions. The more active managers we have, the more fun it'll become!

Race 9 - Italy - Adria - Qualification
And the results for the qualification are in! Sebastian Schumacher takes another pole position with very small gaps to Paul Rosanski and his teammate Joe Armstrong, both less than a tenth slower. Championship leader Antonio Panico starts fourth. What can we expect from the race?
Please post your driver's post-qualification reaction.

Hopefully 4th won't be too hard to overtake from in my attempt to get the win, Qualifying suggests the top 4 are all close so matching the pace of those starting ahead shouldn't be a problem.
If I can clear Armstrong off the start that would be nice, that way he can't hold me up for Schumacher to get away.
Armstrong is definitely the wildcard out of the top 4 being the only one of the three of us that isn't gunning for the title, that said last time out he was 2 laps down so maybe his race pace won't be as impressive as his qualifying pace meaning we can gap him once I'm past.
I'm going to take my time choosing my race number as it's something that I'll likely stick with through my career, that said I'll hopefully be in the number 1 car next season and not have to use whatever one I decide upon.

I see trek has my favorite number so Benji can have 77 next year if it's OK? I'll drop in these then:
Positive characteristic: Media Behavior - Quiet and humble guy, always smiling so natural
Negative characteristic: Technical - Loves cars, has no idea how to fix them, etc.
Driver character: Neutral - He's neither really
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

@sammyt93: Thanks for this great reaction, hopefully more managers will post something like this!
@jandal7: 77 is free, so you can choose that one. I've copied your application to have it in this thread as well.

Gambino is proud to continue the tradition of beating his now demoralised team mate James Day. Though the Travinski car be uncompetitive, his skills have dragged the car to the edge of the points.
We hope a similarly good race would end the recent bad run of form...
