Well it's clear Wiggins is stronger climber than any of other GC contenders except Froome...
2nd strongest rider won the Tour. But cycling it's a team effort and at the end Sky did what they came here to do.

Froome needs to grow a bit of backbone and ride for himself for once.

Can you really say anybody other than Froome outclimbed Wiggins though?

Would love Froome to beat Wiggins in the TT now. |

As bad as it is for Froome, Wiggins is a much bigger name in British cycling therefore for this year at least there is no way Sky weren't going to make sure Wiggo was there main man.
Next year maybe Froome will get his chance and if he keeps up like this he will probably win even against Contador.

Yes clearly they have the two strongest riders, but you have to admit it looked a bit ... weird how froome always had to wait |

Other people attacked. Pinot/Rolland/VDB and even Nibali at times, I would argue, were better climbers than Wiggins. It is just that Wiggins did not have to expend an ounce of energy for the entire race except the TT. But yes, it is a team sport, and this is entirely fair enough, but it is just disappointing to see. It doesn't reduce the legitimacy of his win at all.

If it wasn't for Wiggins, Froome would have pulled an Armstrong - dominating the mountains, dominating the time - trials

Finally the stage win for Valverde, with a great deal of mockery done by Sky. |

I like how this has a double meaning for the mountains and the time trials .

Nibali said he had muscolar problems today. He was very happy to only lose 10-11 seconds to Van den Broeck because of the problems. |

This. You might not like how it's happened but it's happened and they were the 2 strongest today. It seemed before the last section of the climb that Wiggins gave Froome some freedom and Froome chose a display of loyalty over (another) stage win. No reason for him to wait otherwise as all the GC rivals were behind them. |

TJVG top 5 for the tour.
Horner put in a great ride.. Fuglsang would have been good too, but Horner performed amazingly. I know I'm a fanboy, but it's true.
Goddanm poison I put in the bottles was sugar water!! Those Russian spies screwed me over!
