Iirc it has no influence on anything, or has it? It coulde be quite annoying but nothing to do with the gameplay right?
It affects rider progression, so for young riders it is crucial that they get the right one. But if it is automatic and there is no way to change it then I guess we just have to live with it. So stupid.
Stupid me, i forgot this is important for AI teams riders development
Than it is really bad.

Okay, I've looked at it and it seems Kentaurus found the solution here.
Whether Luigi will implement those values I have no idea and whether Kentaurus's values will change e.g. Gilbert from fighter to puncheur - I am not 100% sure, but I think so.
Just to emphasise too, it's nothing I set ( rider types ) while doing the stats

I tried putting them into the game but it didn't make a lot of difference. I'm going to have a play around with the formula myself for a while and see what I can come up with. I'll post my results up tonight.

Okay so this is what I have come with after almost 2 straight hours of playing around with it. It isn't 100% perfect but it gets 95% of riders right and most of the ones that it doesn't are smaller riders. Also note that this will raise the average of every rider by about 1 point, and often a few points for TT riders and NC specialists, but given that (to the best of my knowledge) the average doesn't actually mean anything, that is fine.

Thanks. Happy to help out, given how much work other people do. I've added the link to the cbd up there.

I don't know what his latest stats were, but after he won in Frankfurt I followed Moreno Moser's results lately. He probably should get good stats for example he had quite some good time trials the whole season beating a few decent time trialists:5 | | National Championships Italy (Levico Terme) I.T.T. | 3 | | Tour de Suisse, Stage 1 : Lugano - Lugano I.T.T. | 9 | | Vuelta al Pais Vasco, Stage 6 : Oñati - Oñati I.T.T. | 4 | | Settimana Coppi e Bartali, Stage 5 : Crevalcore - Crevalcore I.T.T. |
Also he of course has quite a few Top 5 results in smaller hilly races
You probably noticed him as well, but I wanted to write it anyways |

We'll need to wait and see in the big mountains first. Wiggins is normally vulnerable on very steep slopes like today's, so he actually impressed a lot. Froome is the opposite, great on these steep percentages, as seen on the Angliru.

Up Froome's accelaration as it has an influence on steep climbs like these..

One person that could probably use just 1 mountain stat raise at the least is Taaramae though. I've always thought his PCM stats were slighlty under-rated.

I'm working on a table for the RSM .9 DB right now for the 2012 game. I also plan to work on some of the xml tables for generating potentials to allow for riders that are given the TT or Fighter characteristics a chance at being good or great in other areas, (allowing a very small chance for other riders to be like Wiggens, Martin, Cancellara, Chavanel, EBH ect. where they may be a TT or Fighter but can still be great at climbing, hills, cobbles, and sprinting).
And as a note for CountArachs tables, its good work, the worst part is on several riders, just a one point adjustment in their stats can screw up what type of rider they are, its not a one size fits all, each DB needs it's own table.
Anyhow I'm going to work on the XMLs today probably some tomorrow and try to get them posted. So you guys can look at them and see what you think.

My thoughts after first 11 stages, doping rumours aside.
Sky stats must be heavily revised, but I'm sure Alakagom is onto it.
After what I've seen, Froome deserves 79/80 MO, with 76/77 ACC and about 78 STA. He is proving to be the best climber in the peloton, and I have no doubt he could win it if if wasn't for Wiggo.
Speaking of Wiggo, I think 79 MO also, with about 75 HIL and a low ACC is necessary.
On the time-trials though, He should be a solid 82. Martin should also be 82, with Cancellara and Froome on 80 each. Chavanel should be around 76/77, with Tejay Van Garderen also needing an increase in both TT and MO stat, around 77 for the latter, and 78 for the TT.
Other guys that I think need a change are Matt Goss' sprint and acc, Greipel's SPR stat, and two frenchies, Rolland and Pinto need MO stat increases after what we've seen.
One thing we must keep in mind too though, is to not overrate the Sky train. Other than Wiggo, they haven't shown that much pre-Dauphine. Porte and Rogers should probably get 76 MO, maybe 77 for Porte (who seems to have lost a little TT ability, so maybe 76 for that.)

I think Martins tt should be higher than 82
not by much, maybe 83
if not for injuries and mechanicals he would have been right in amongst the leaders
(should have been second in plg, and top 5in tt)
Also try not to overate Sagan, otherwise he becomes ridiculously good
78-79hl 77-78sp 78-79acc 76pl 68-70mo, something like that
then he can still compete for the same finishes and win them, without overdominating

I think that Martin should still lead the time trial by a point, although that could be my nationality speaking
I think the endurance stat should get a good look as well, because its pretty low for several decent riders. For example Degenkolb is pretty good there as seen in milan - san remo and in the past he had a really low End |

I personally think Wiggins has overtaken Martin as best TT rider on earth, but I still give them an 82 rating. Maybe 83 each.
And I'm not just taking this from the Tour results.

forgot to said in previous post
wiggo 82 tt 74 res 76 fl
martin 82 tt 77 res 78 fl
cance 89 tt 78 res 83 fl
so basically t martin is still the best (better fl and res than wigg) |
