BTW I remember Grivko's and Bozić's 2012 National jerseys, they were nice why Vino now decided to make them so Kazakh
I mean if Nibbles' jersey wouldve been white instead of turquoise of kazakhstan that wouldve been so much better and vino would still get the Astana visible on the jersey.
It's frankly because general public will hardly see their jerseys ( Grivko, Bozic), while Nibali is their GC man and the team's leader He'll be the most visible rider from Astana.

I have a few questions I hope someone will try to answer since I'm unsure. It's regarding my Tour de France manager team
1. Will Haussler compete in the mass sprints this year? (Top 15ish)
a. Would someone else at IAM participate? Elmiger perhaps?
2. Bryan Coquard would be the no. 1 sprinter at Europcar, right?
3. What about Daniel Oss? Usually up there in the periphery, what about this time?

I'm putting down some (real money) bets now:
Rafal Majka top 10 - 12:1 odds
Benat Intxausti top 10 - 23:1 odds
Talansky beats Van Garderen - 1.87:1 odds
Pinot beats Andy Schleck - 1.87:1 odds
The first two I feel are incredibly good odds, particularly the Majka bet so I've put a few dollars on each of them. I was on the fence about Talansky beating Van Garderen so I haven't put much on it. Pinot beating Andy is just... astonishingly good money. I have about $20 on that.
EDIT: And I placed some bets for stage 1 too:
Cavendish to win the stge (3.25:1)
Matthews to beat Gerrans (1.50:1)
Danny Van Boppel to beat Goss (2.15:1)
Rojas to beat Haussler (1.87:1)
Not too bad. I like your stage bets, all stand a very good chance. Although the Goss bet will be voided. You'll also be hoping Matthews doesn't start tomorrow too.
The Majka one is very risky though, I'll eat my hat if he comes Top 20 really He was annoyed as hell on FB after his selection, he hasn't done any prep whatsoever specific for Tour and I expect him to loose time already within first week and try to get in shape to help Conta.
Good luck though!

1. He should. However he might pick out few stages, and don't participate in others, so he is a big risk. However, saying so, he is a risk that could pay off since not many might have him in the fantasy team.
a) Elmiger on tough finishes, but not sprints. Kluge might, but mostly a leadout for Haussler. The team is focused on Frank GC's hope and Chavanel stage wins.
2. Yes, no doubt.
3. This page should tell you all: https://www.procyc...Daniel_Oss

It's a gem of a site.
I still prefer CQRankings for checking rankings and going deep into riders results, but PCS has everything, profiles, stats startlists etc. Essential site in other words

I got Haussler in my team. He can do well in the cobbled stage (though having to work for Chavanel probably), get involved in some sprints and try a breakaway or two. |

Damn, I just read the 3rd analysis of the '5 biggest/must wath stages" in this Tour with none of them having the 17th stage on to Pla 'd Adet which is this year's queen stage. So much for the experts. Thats a day where fresh riders/teams really can create havoc.
To me its the cobbled stage, Planche des Belles Filles, Pla d' Adet, Hautacam and the TT, leaving none of the Alpine stage in, allthough they also surely wil be interesting. But not on the cost of Pla d' Adet. |

Nah Pau-Hautacam is this years queen stage IMO with Tourmalet in it |

What stages will be exciting and "mustwatch" will all be revealed after the first mountain and TT. The experts tend to guess wrong and where they expect it is usually where it wont happen.
But If Contador again have problems in the mountains when it goes really up or lose to much time on TT , he will try on the more flat stages and also the weather will play a huge role.
I have a feeling that Froome was unlucky in dauphine and he has now rectified it with some nice home cooked "meals" |

I dont think it even can be debated that the stage to Pla d' Adet is the queen stage on paper, but preferences man, preferences |

wiggins is not going to be at the tdf acording to cycling news (this was a few days ago) which is a huge mistake because i mean wiggo can cobble and he can climb a bit and he can still help froome (not that he'll need it)
edit: Gallopin's gonna finish top 5 on 2 stages and top 3 on one stage, I'm calling it!
I was right!
stage 2,7,11!! |
