3rd pole - 3rd race lost on the track. The championship could look way better than it does but Schumacher is in a good position anyway.
If we also want to contest the constructers championships then we need the other car to bring some more points home before it is too late...
@Paul: There have been some small changes in the cars and I'll do some more. I really want that every driver has scored some points at the end of the season, but I want to keep it realistic as well. Some teams just need a bit of luck, some others just need a better car. Unfortunately I can't change the gaps between the cars, otherwise I would've make them smaller to have more surprises. I'll see what I do, but I hope that every driver, or at least every time, has scored a point by the end of the season.
And that there aren't many managers very active anymore is a bit my fault, because I've posted irregular. I hope that managers will become more active now. Tip: track the thread.
Despite digging out a Danica photo on the last page my interest in this is all but gone. The slow speed and irregularity really bashed away that interest as you guessed. Something like this needs a certain kind of pace to keep everyone interested. Then it just becomes a bit dull with the same people writing previews and comments and the whole thing is now just a bit blah. (no offence it's just the way i see things, and at least it is still sort of going).
I do think it is a good idea fundamentally. So much so i've adapted it myself and now use my own version to spice up my Race07 play, which is pretty cool.

@TMM: I think I made the reports way too long at the start, and because it was a lot of work my motivation went down and the speed as well. I understand that you say that the current reports are a bit boring. They're short and everything what's said in it can be seen in the tables which are posted as well. I'll try to find a way to make them more attractive, what hopefully makes it a bit more active, and of course I want to post in a higher pace. Tips are welcome of course, because this is my first community story as well so it's a bit looking to find the right direction.
Personally i don't care too much for the reports just skipping to see the result. Then if something looks odd/interesting i'll go back and pick out that part in the report. Though the lack of color/images isn't appealing (throw a real life image in there from the track just to make it more appealing is my main suggestion)
Maybe you need some help with this...you could make it f.e. a bit more like the man-game...it would be alot nicer, if you could make some pictures(take a car...stop it near the road -> replay) if possible...
Well, how could I make more of a man-game of this? I don't have an idea at the moment.
Simulating the game is more like quick-sim instead of playing, so taking pictures is a bit difficult.
Yeah, maybe I could use someone who wants to help me. I can still do the simulating and the statistics, that's no problem. But what kind of tasks can someone else do?

1. i thought of taking pictures, creating previews and stuff...
2. hm...that could be a problem...are there other games you could take? or add an extra driver(you) who is just sitting outside of the road?
3. Others could write the previews, or(what i would find nice) could create some team HQs...i think it would be nice, if we add some storylines in the game...make it deeper(best example is TMM with Hanzen vs. Brouwer in EPIC)

With the amount of interaction here a HQ would be a waste of space. The game is small enough to have everything within one thread and you can start the storylines here, too.
@Paul: 1. I already have previews. 2. Well taking screenshots will be strange, because I change the drivers/teams sometimes. So then you have f.e. Mohn as a white car and the next race Mohn as a yellow car. 3. Could be possible. I have had a storyline, but that was only at the start of the season. The rivalry between Antlers and Mohn about the fact that Mohn signed Justin Clark. But I actually didn't write about it during the season.
@knockout: Well, if you have any ideas for storylines, you may say them. Starting a HQ is maybe a bit too much, because it's not a very big story indeed.
Maybe I could add myself as a person? That I write it more like a diary/one 'rider' story instead of neutral reports?
Sooo this has been inactive for a long time now. Sorry for that. Anyway, I'm thinking about continuing this or maybe restart it, but then slightly different which hopefully makes me and the participaters more active without losing motivation.
So here are some ideas for a new league:
- Instead of having much differences between the car every driver will get the same car. The differences will be much smaller, which will make the races more exciting with everyone having a chance to win the race. Hopefully participators will stay more active as well.
- With giving everyone the same car the characteristics will be quite useless, so they'll be taken out of the game. Same goes for the driver character.
- Making the story/game more interactive. Everyone is allowed to post rumours/news about his/her driver and post their expectations before every race.
Feel free to share your ideas on this. I hope there's interest in it.

@jandal7: Cool! Iirc you didn't participate the first time?
@sammyt93: "Defending", we didn't completely finish the season. But he really was on fire. And that's what I want to change, that the car has less influence on the results to make it more exciting for everyone.
Sooo I might start the other racing league, but first I want to finish this season and maybe even continue this. It depends on how many people want to participate in the other racing league and if there are people who'd like to see this continue. Here are the qualification results for Hockenheim, race 8 out of 14 from this season!
