However, what Athletí and especially Simeone is doing now makes it a whole lot easier. Very unlikeable person.

Quite frankly, the awarding of the penalty, Ronaldo taking his shirt off yet not being penalised, and the brawl that ensued, as well as Athletico now press fodder to be poked fun at despite a brilliant game, sums up all that is wrong with the modern game( in my over-complicated and twisted view of the world).

Franco must be smiling in his grave.

I was hoping for Atletico, but all in all Real was the best team.

No one wins 4-1 through just luck and margins.

Unless those luck and margins are never-should-have-been-given penalties. Well, for the 4th goal.

Real could have scored that 4th goal on a few other occasions and much earlier on, though. It was a deserved win, but still a lucky one, too, and eventually with too big a margin.

Well, alas, they have La Decima. Stronger team eventually, very bitter for Atletico though. Gabi, what a player!

There was absolutely no way that was a Penalty. Ronaldo dives like a bitch amd is the biggest gay faggot in Football. They had already won the game but he celebrated his goal like it was a match winner which it clearly was not. Feel sorry for Atletico.

You really need to sort your attitude out. Whether it was a dive or not (it wasn't, yes he made the most of it, but he was clearly tripped), you don't call someone a "gay faggot". The game was already over anyway and it made absolutely no difference.

This isn't the first time you've made a ridiculously over the top football-related post. Chill out.

It's understandable as Ronaldo is one of the biggest pricks there are in football, I don't like his persona on the field but I guess that is one of the things that make him one of the best in the world, unfortunately...

Why is he a prick? He is diving as much as anyone in Liga BBVA, but he plays fantastic football anyway.

It just had to be Ramos. He had a fighting spirit in the semis and yesterday that no one on Real Madrid could match. But I don't like his persona really. He needs to get rid of his anger management problems, before I would. Also kudos to Di Maria, who, as well, played well.

I don't know why people are mad at the ref, because 4 or 5 minutes of added time was reasonable, and if the stoppage time would have been the normal 3 minutes, Real would have still gotten the goal.

But Atletico.. What a season. I really hope, even though I support Real Madrid, that Atletico will stay as one of the top teams in Europe and Spain, and they will show us that this was not just a one-timer. What an amazing team spirit, fighting spirit etc. And Gabi.. What a player.

Varane kicked a ball at him. In any other match, he'd have been sent off. Plus, Real were second best for the first 93 minutes, and it was debateable whether there was actually 5 minutes of stoppages. You can understand his frustration.

Simeone was always crazy moron, why he should change behind the line?

Real with a deserved win, haters gonna hate! Banana

Don't know what game you were watching. I also like Atletico but they didn't deserved to win. The last half hour they played only on their half field, going back and back, losing time on every opportunity. If you didn't see that it's because your hate for Real is blinding you.

And Ronaldo scored his 17th penalty goal after 17 dives in the area on 11 Champions League matches so no way he should be allowed to celebrate like that! Cool
