If Horner, Voigt, Luigi... are doping, does that automatically mean everyone at Radioschack is? Or how does that go? |

Nice payback from Movistar riding after Mollema and others were dropped. That's cycling and actions you make always bite you back in the ass. He came back very well though and despite more bad luck he finished 6th, great result for him.
About the winner... I hate Horner, not possible that he is so much stronger than the others today while almost being 42... |

He was asking WT teams, why don't they sign Horner for next season, and I asked:
"Who wants one of the most obvious dopers on their team?"
EDIT: Betancur'd

I feel like GC riders hardly value stage wins anymore. I mean this stage probably could have been great. I remember the 09 Giro I think it was, with a similar profile to this and there were countless attacks. Today there were 3 or 4 and only 1 rider was a legitimate GC contender.
Problem is there are still 11 MTF's left so they can't go full out every uphill finish
Nibali clearly finished right after Basso btw
You're right, a lot of them are probably thinking "there are still lots of days for me"
but eventually the days run out, and some of those will go to breakaways, and not everyone can win a mountain stage anyway.
Today was a 4km climb. Tomorrow isn't going to be a GC battle. I feel like one effort today wouldn't harm their form or anything like that.

I generally agree though most of them would be looking to hit their absolute physical peak in the final week and might still be finding their legs. Guys like Betancur who haven't raced in a long time for instance. But your general point about GC contenders not really caring about stage wins like they used to is generally true. IMO the UCI should increase the point values assigned to stage rankings.

Seriously, open your eyes. They clearly slowed down and waited. What more do you want them to do? Have Valverde tow Mollema to a stage win?

I dont think Movistar rode at the front.......maybe you're thinking of Sammy Sanchez if anyone.

I was about to tweet Bruyneel when I saw Fernando's. Gotta love his sense of outrage at the obvious. |

They slowed down on the bridge where it was dangerous, but what the f are you talking about? I said it was good, that is cycling and it's a part of it. Your actions have consequences. |

PCS has corrected itself now, Nibali has been instated into 11th place and Barguil has replaced the rogue Janse van Rensburg

There is no team wide doping in Sky like there was at Bruyneels |

Hey, I'm not accusing, just making a joke here
Good job on getting banned by Bruyneel. I guess all PCM.Daily twitter accounts are getting banned 1 by 1 over time, I still remember a twitter battle with Froome's girlfriend |
