Yea, it was quite nice training, got blisters on my hand so it had to be good
I think it's ' What doesn't kill you makes you stronger' Sorry for correcting you, I am not even sure if I am right here
Yeah, it is like that, but I disagree with that |

It's by Nietzsche, and it rather refers to the trauma of life, psychological wounds, etc. It's not supposed to work for the physical aspect, although immunity works a bit like that too. |

Yeah, but people use it nowadays for physical and mental things.
And I don't buy it with traumas even
Traumas don't make you stronger necessarily. |

I was having a fantastic day today until I got home from school and in one of our loungerooms, there were things all over the ground. I didn't think much of it, until my dad got home and noticed his bathroom window open and dirt all through the house.
Turns out we were robbed, and they knew what they were doing. The only thing of mine they took was my xbox, and all my games.
Regardless of that, it's just weird to think some weird druggo/loser/whatever was in my room. Bastards.

That really sucks Eden. But looking at the good side of that, at least no one was at home then, you never know how nasty things can get in such situations.

I had a my house burgled once. It was a weird experience, but actually you'll get over it quickly. After all it's just stuff....
On an other happier note: if everything goes as expected I start my summer holiday in about 24 hours

3 more days until holiday here!
PCM 2012 will release just in time for me.
Sucks that you got robbed Eden, but as MrDemus said, it's just stuff. Only a small consolation, but it's true. |

Yeah i know, Another guy in my street had his car stolen last month. One of our neighbours said they saw a car in the driveway which confuses me, why they didn't take anything big. Felt slightly offended that they didn't take anything from my room
And they must have been polite, didn't even take any food either

That seems to indicate that they stole for easy money rather than by despair and need for food.

No holiday ? What kind of country do you live in, or what do you work as ?
I figured holidays were mandatory and that most people would have them somewhere during Summer.
5 weeks to my 3 weeks holiday here. |

I have 5 weeks also, but i spend 2-3 weeks usually to cover the ilnesess during the year, because czech republic has stupid laws and you are not paid a cent for first three days when ill,so i cover it with it to not loose part of salary. And three remaining weeks i go for a summer 10-14 days holiday (this year in semptember because of big changes in company) and the rest for x-mas or so.
To be honest two weeks in the row are mandatory here, but noone cares about that.
Also as an accountant and person who calculates the production, i have to be at work during first two weeks in a month.

Yeah, the things they stloe are the kind of things you could get easy money for, at say, a pawn shop, on ebay, or just generally selling it all to people they know. Where I live, not really, its a strange thing to happen.

Oh yes, so comforting.
Nobody I know would do something like that, plus most people I know were at school.
On another note, I'm doing my open water dive course in a couple of hours

Maybe, my dad's a teacher so I think it might be a student from the school he teaches at.
It was amazing, the boat ride was fun enough
Didn't see anything special like sharks or turtles or whatever, but I almost got stung/hit by a massive puffer fish
It was really fun, once you get the hang of it (Which actually took me a while, its harder than it looks). I wanted to touch everything, but apparently the majority of things down there can hurt/sting you, so I didn't. And also I have some nice coral cuts
