Herklotz was amazing, Kittel remarkably consistent in both GTs. Majka and Team BP as a whole pretty disappointing. Once again just two breakaway appearances in the whole race, it's been like that all season long. One stage win at least.
I wish you a speedy recovery, dominox!

Geniez got a good result out of that but the rest of the team might as well have stayed home. Congrats cio!
Thanks for the reports dominox and all the best!

I was ready to lambast the team on this race but then they deliver Guardini to a stage win on the Champs Elysees! That is probably the highest profile win we have ever achieved
Congrats to cio and thanks for the reports dominox Hope you feel better soon.

Fantastic work by Kelderman! Boileau also tried and did really well, similarly did we come very close to the Teams Classification, nice work!

4th, 8th and 9th for us in Kigali is a fantastic effort from the team and a result we needed!

Finally a solid performance by Lavery. He had nothing left for the sprint unfortunately, but 3rd place works well enough. Happy to be back in action.

Yay, another ridiculously bad TT by Ollero... Beaten by 69 TTers, that's fun. Guy is becoming more and more of a joke.

Big focus race for us in Vancouver in a sponsor nation - it went... good.
Boily's GC bid was just a bit underwhelming. He's not the strongest climber out there and did his job to stay in the main group each day, but I hoped he might make up for that a little more in the TT. 8th is fine, but a top 5 would have been very sweet in his home race.
Langlois definitely did his job though! Hasn't been super active for a while but rode with a vengeance here. 2 stage wins and the points jersey is amazing work. Shame the breakaway won to prevent a third podium, but that was predictable given stage 5's profile and placement.
I took a big swing for the fences sending Mullen here for the TT on stage 7. Focus race in a sponsor nation, as I said earlier. A stage podium means it wasn't a complete waste (especially since he didn't have a ton of TT race days to choose instead), but a stage win there would have been perfect. Alas, TJ foiled our plans.
Thanks dominox!

Overall pretty strong racing by Gomez in Vancouver - for once we even did well in a CT.1 race! Top 5 was the goal given the competition, and he just got that by gaining 4 spots with a really strong final TT.
Missing out on the top group on S4 wasn't good, though - nor was losing 2 minutes to Verona on S6. But two strong TTs and some consistent riding at least got him 5th in the GC. With some better daily form, that could've been a podium, but looking at Nerz I definitely can't complain.
What's nasty though is DÃaz apparently crashing out, while showing some decent form in the mountains. We're not too lucky this year, so that isn't surprising, unfortunately. But it probably cost us a podium in the team standings...
The U23 once again were pretty invisible, being clearly the worst team. Unfortunately, they don't even try anything in those races. But at least Cruz took 11th on the first sprint stage, which is a nice result for him on that level.

Ouch... How does it come that Chamorro is SO BAD? I'd really like to get the point of what's always going wrong with him, so that I could train him "correctly"...
Iirc he got 7th in a WT stage race this year already, so 7th in Austria (while being the shared best clibmer) is really awful. That guy just sucks almost all season long.
At least we got some nice depth results, along with the team standings win, but we're always missing out on big points. Time to get that season done and maybe start over again.
Btw, stages 1-3 of Austria have been posted twice. And given that the July rankings are already posted as well, I guess I somehow missed Juarez? Could anyone point me to the right results page then? Can't find it

Still promoting And not even winning the CT this time
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

We’ve been in pretty good form lately but I need it to continue!
Awesome stuff from Verona in Vancouver to take the GC win and a stage along with it.
8th from Verona is Osterreich also a solid result but further reinforced by 12th from Rambaud and Legazpi taking 14th and the U25s.
Finally, a bit of a one-off appearance from Sanz in Juarez with the stage win doing enough to take 8th.
Thanks reporting team!

Sam was on fire the first couple of Juarez stages, but couldn't replicate it in the second half. All good with me. He slipped down the points standings, but held onto 2nd overall, which is more important. Add in his stage win, and it's a very solid race for us. Sam's comeback the last couple of years has been a huge bright spot for our team and nation.

Nice and really consistent racing by Zabel in Juarez! Only a stage win is missing, but 3rd GC, two stage podiums and 2nd in the points standings is definitely more than we could expect in this field (although missing out on green by two points kind of sucks). Rick and Gomez are keeping the team afloat, while Chamorro continues to do Chamorro things :S
Thanks for the results btw!

I dare say the World Cup 2021 has been decided with San Sebastian and Sagan will lose his title and jersey to Komisarek.

Not a great start to the month, but definitely not unexpected. Huamán is just lacking 1-2 points in hills to be competitive in races like Sebastian, so taking still some points is OK.
Zabel pretty unlucky in World Ports Classic, finishing 11th on both stages. At least he was "best of the rest" (where "rest" means those missing out on bonus seconds) and gets some smaller points. Too bad Biró dropped back after his breakaway escapade, those bonus seconds would've been great for the U25 standings otherwise.
Annecy likely will be a rough race for us as well, but starting with San José I'm hoping we'll get some nice results this month still.
