My question is why is someone who supports Sky/Froome labelled a "fanboy" while people can support other riders/teas as much as they want?
This is not about Froome. I've compiled a list of annoying people on Daily:
Contador-fanboys
Cav-fanboys
Norweigans
Tinkov-lovers
Tinkov-haters
Kelderman-believers
Ten Dam-believers
Gesink-believers
Dekker-beilievers
Overly optimistic French.
So, does this mean everyone at Daily is a annoying prick?
You forgot 'Everyone supporters' (those who support 95% of cyclists Otherwise I don't fit into a category.

Ok, I think I get it now. Basically anyone who shows a preference for any particular rider/team is a fanboy |

Yeah, and where's the flemish nationalist who frowns down on non-cobbled races?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Then there are people who constantly remind others about their "fanboyism" and those are not much less annoying.

Tiesj Benoot lovers missing from the list. Daily is safe.

I still fail to see how fans are that annoying.
Sure, they don't reason as well about their object of fandom as some of the other, always reasonable people here.
But then again, it's about a sport, nothing more. It's so harmless. I say let them be passionate about a rider in a sport beyond reason.
Better in cycling than in politics. People should be passionate about something. At least being passionate about a cyclist or a cycling team isn't going to harm anyone
I would've prefered George Bush being an Armstrong fanboy than the Iraq/Afghanistan/War fanboy he turned out to be |

Looks to see when Ian joined the site - 2012.
Looks to see when Hushovd's last contention for the green jersey was - 2011.
Ian doesn't understand why fans can be annoying. Makes sense.

Contador apparently sick after Paris-Nice, hope he gets well for Catalunya. Also, boy those constant accelerations by Contador on the last climb, that was carnage. Looked like a predator, showing teeth and dancing on pedals, with aero-helmet and out for blood.

Also, Tim Wellens was pretty awesome. Guy is ideal racer for stage hunting.
