Not a bad start for the DT. Though it hurts to be beaten by a German in the prologue. |

Finally a win for my development team! Breakaways seem to be the only real chance for them this season.
Also Uran didnt loose too much time at the giro ttt, we did better than expected. Otherwise not much to see from Ecopetrol, the real giro starts with the first mountain stage

Stage 4 went well I'd say. Stage win and 6th and 7th. Nice effort. Shame we couldn't get any results in the overall classifications.

Bouhanni finishing one place in front of Froome in a bunch sprint - seems legit.
TTT was quite ok, we didn't lose much time and that is all that counts. Taking back some tiny seconds from Porte won't be much of a problem I guess *cough*having-Froome-is-just-like-cheating*cough*
Carpathian Couriers Race was just not hard enough for Kudus to show his strenght. But Reinders, Hoelgard and Biermans have been proving their talent by constantly being near the front.

That stuff is somewhat funnier when you're German (I just realise I have no idea how much of an issue this is for non-Germans...)

Podium on stage 4 and a top 10 on stage 5 is good, although I would have liked to see us a bitter higher up in the GC. |

Another good race for the FC Porto U23 Team with 4 riders inside the Top 15 which included a strong McCarthy in 3rd and Kozhatayev in 5th. Could be a great season for the young lads.

I added two more stages of the Giro. Sorry for the slow pace atm and thanks to Shonak for also taking over a race. |

Well, obviously the huge time loss sucks on this stage but way to go Herrada and Verona. Make me proud boys.

Back to normal for the Celesio guys. Arndt picking his nose, instead of sprinting and Aru somewhere in the peloton when he should be at the front. |

Rosa, you lovely bastard
Didn't expect such a good result in the 7th stage, he gave 16 seconds to most of the gc contenders and that's really great! Now can't wait to see him extending the gap in the next stages.
Majka wtf I'd have really liked a report here because it looked like a freakin' exciting stage but well I can live with that
Ah, Colbrelli 8th in Stage 6, hopefully he can get some top 5 as well but that's still ok for me

Bloody Vegeta! We expected to lose the pink jersey, but not like that! A massive result for Vegeta, they should keep the lead for a few stages, which in itself will give them some handy points.
All in all a great ride from Porte as the top four really distance themselves in the GC. A good-ish sign for the mountain stages that De Gendt made a secondary break there. |

Nice to see Gavazzi popping in a Top10. Also nice to see Capecchi and Rabottini in the first big group. Their best chances will be from breakaways to i hope they get out on the move soon.

Good to see CT teams doing well in the Giro - just don't score too many points

Bouhanni being 4th in a bunch sprint is about where he should be, though I'm still waiting for a podium.
And congratz to Vegeta for the Maglia Rosa. It really doesn't bother me as we have still so many stages for Froome to get that time back.

I just noticed that I missed some 76+ riders on CT.2 startlists. This was due people sending in their startlists later. We had that problem with Dan Martin in Crit International and Romandie. I can't change that now, luckily he didn't win there.
THen there is still Demare taking part at California and RIde London at the moment. I took the liberty to change nacho's startlists a little, without making a change to the total race days used by his riders. The new startlists are here: https://www.mediafire.com/download/lfn...s2015.xlsx
@Shonak, The Rider: Please also download the startlists excel file another time out of the reporters folder. It won't make a difference for races that are soon though (exceot California)
Sorry for the confusion, everybody.
More Giro & California stages to come tonight. |
