It seems like it, yes. I've tried with two different custom teams, and two different real teams (sky and MTN-qhubeka). It works perfectly with the real teams (so far). The custom teams however, have not been an success though. :/

edit: the files is in the correct folder, but db, stages and other files isn´t in the game.
First of all, sorry for the late reply.
I've got an older Macbook myself and I'm trying to do this through VMware Fusion with Windows 7. I am able to run PCM through Steam, but my graphics chip is a 9400M, so it's practically unusable for 3D races. I can't run almost any game anyway.
I have installed the Expansion Pack successfully in VMware. Parallels works a little different, since it shares data with the Mac. My guess would be that PCM can't read the Documents directory that is set by default (C:\Users\Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2014). Try copying this folder to your default Documents folder.
If that doesn't work, I'd suggest trying to use the trial version of VMware Fusion and buying it if this works fine. It costs about €65.

If you mean the Variant Pack we released, you don't. The game chooses different variants at the start of each season. This doesn't have anything to do with the cdb-files.

HELP!!
I have downloaded and installed the 2 expansion packs, and i am using the 2015DB. My issue is that in career mode, all the mini maillots are Purple, and in-game all the teams are Racing in the FDJ-Jersey.
Can someone solve This problem? |

Take a look at the dyn_transfers_contact table, if there are any entries with a 0 under the team column, immediately delete them and try if it works
