Ian Boswell Out With Broken Collarbone
Ian Boswell of MTN-Qhubeka suffered a broken collarbone after crashing in a huge pile-up during the first stage of the 5 Jours de Dunkerque. The young American was very disappointed to hear this news, and was told he would be off the bike for the next 6 weeks. This news puts his Tour Debut in Jeopardy. More to come later.

Some real tough news for Ian. Wish a speedy recovery, hopefully he can debut the Tour still - and be in great shape.

- June 8th 2014
Hey guys, Ian here. My Collarbone has pretty much healed at this point. However, I have decided to forgo the Tour this year. I'm currently in now shape to ride the Tour, and I think that only a month of preparation is not enough. I have decided to spend the next month and a half training for my new goal, the Vuelta a Espana. I'm disappointed, as the route this year suited me very well, and I was looking forward to racing in France. Anyways, my next post will detail my calender for the rest of the season.
See You Then- Ian

Hey guys, I have a non-official schedule set up for the remainder of the season. My next race will be the Tour of Poland. After that, I will ride the Vuelta a Burgos and the Arctic Race of Norway before the Vuelta. I will take a few weeks off after the Vuelta, before riding some Italian classics before Lombardia.
Note: Will do a review of all WT races right before the Tour of Poland

A little update, I have simmed through the Giro. However, I'm busy right now with soccer, and so review of Giro-Tour probably won't be up until the end of the week.

I have finally simmed past the Tour
I've decided to split the review into two posts, and will have both of them up on Saturday. Racing should resume on Sunday with the Tour of Poland.

Giro d' Italia
Week 1: The Giro started with a team time trial won by Movistar. The Maglia Rosa soon changed hands, as stage 2 winner Alexander Kristoff took Pink on time bonuses. Stage 3 saw the peloton enter the mountains, and Vincenzo Nibali simply rode away from his competition, taking the pink. Peter Sagan took the next two hilly stages, and he found himself in pink. A hilly stage 6 saw the Dutchman Bauke Mollema take 1 15 from the rest, as he took pink. Stage 7 saw the peloton hit the cobbles, and they hit lots of cobbles. Peter Sagan took the stage and the Maglia Rosa, as he finished 5 minutes ahead of Nibali, and 15 minutes ahead of Mollema.
Week 2: The first summit finish saw Mollema torching the rest, taking 2 minutes over 2nd place Nibali. Surprisingly, Sagan lost only 4 minutes, and so remained in pink. However, the Slovak lost his lead the next day in the time trial as Nibali took 1 30 away from Sagan in route to second place behind Talansky. The next made history. Daniel Teklehaimanot took an African team's first stage win at the Giro from a breakaway. After a hilly stage taken by young Tom Slagter, Nibali started to pull away from his rivals. He finished second a summit finish and Mt time trial to increase his lead to 8 minutes over second place Mollema. The second week closed out with a stage win by Peter Sagan.
Week 3: The third week of the Giro was absolutely dominated by Vincenzo Nibali. He finished 1st or 2nd on every single stage, and he won the last 4 stages. Peter Sagan faltered, falling from 3rd to 9th in the final week. Only 16 riders finished within an hour of Nibali. Mollema finished 2nd 19 02 back, and Fulgsang finished 3rd 22 48 back.
