Thanks guys for all of that support, I'm currently going through a flu, that's why the reports stalled quite a bit. Anyway, now I'm hopefully back for good, it just takes a bit more time to write them, because I'm pretty weak.
Pretty tough stage, it'll take its toll at the end of the day for sure
Alex Fischer shows our colours upfront, but unfortunately he gets dropped
As the sprint begins, Westra and Gutierrez create a gap
But they can't keep their pace and Julien Simon gets the stage-win
The main contenders finished together, only one Spider arrived with them

Hilly terrain as almost always, here in Catalunya, will the break make it again?
We're again participating in the daily BotD, this time it was Nagy trying his luck
In the end it all came down to a sprint, Katuhsa formed a train to lead out Spilak
The race leader wins the stage, Spilak takes it! Porte and LLS weren't fast enough.

@krisa - Thank you!
@mvhoogdalem – Yes, unfortunately he wasn't strong enough.
@sutty – Really no, but it's slowly time to move on from that race!
@Jakstar22 – Thanks!
@Ollfardh – Let's just do that, indeed.
E3 in the next coming hours! |

It's time for Mike Pye to step up, here are his races coming! He has elite support from the trio of Bobson, Van der Valde and Sithembile. He has all the tools to win, we hope he'll deliver. The rest of the squad is consisting of several other helpers, the De Vries's, Oget and Bakker are all here to collect some waterbottles and pace the peloton early.
All the big names are here, Cancellara, Boonen and Vanmarcke are ready to fight for the win, most likely the trophy will go to one of them or Mike Pye. Outsiders, such as Greg Van Avarmaet or Damien Gaudin are also here, it'll be interesting to see how will the do. Will they attack from long range or wait for the sprint? There are many options, but most likely they're not gonna work against the favourites. Let's see! |

10000 views! Thanks to all of you, what a great achievement!
The early break was headlined by Rüdiger Selig and Joost Van Leijen, they led the 4-men group over most parts early. The peloton took a backseat and let them build up a nice lead, which even went over 7 minutes at some parts of the race.
The first cobbles went pretty unanimously, OPQS sent Vandenbergh to the front in order to increase the pace. He pulled hard, but didn't do any real damage to anybody. Our team stayed infront, occasionaly joining the relay.
RadioShack and Europcar were also right there working hard, showing their desire to reel in the break. Blanco Pro Cycling was also lurking around at the front, eventually starting to pull hard and wear out the peloton and the favourites.
Split! Blanco and SpiderTech forced some separation with their domestiques, it's starting to get exciting! The gap is only around 30 secs at the moment, but the pace is really high at the front.
The leading group only lasted through 10 kilometres, but the pace of OPQS was too hard to match and the catch was made. As soon as that process seemed to have ended, two of the pre-race favourites, Cancellara and Vanmarcke attacked! This caught the others surprised and the duo got off to a lead of a minute.
As the pace in the chasing group wasn't high enough for his liking, Mike Pye attacked with 30 kilometres to go. It was his last standing domestique, TJ Siithembile pacing him, but eventually the Kenyan had to let the Englishman go. The gap was around half a minute to the leading dup at that time.
Sep Vanmarcke distancing Spartacus! As the chase of OPQS hots up the Swiss rider stands up! Sylvain Chavanel is really shredding the peloton apart, he is killing it! Tom Boonen is sitting on his wheel with the other favourites. They just caught Mike Pye too! Immense pace set by the Frenchman, the leading Vanmarcke won't make it all the way to the finish!
It's all together again! 16 riders at the front, only 10 kilometers to go! OPQS is still with 3 riders, Orica has two and all the others with only one man left! If it comes down to a sprint, it's going to be extremely tough to beat Tom Boonen!
We're in the last kilometers right now, it'll be a mass sprint for sure! The belgian team is leading out Tom Boonen, but it's really close at the moment with Fabian Cancellara and Sep Vanmarcke being there too! What a finish we are looking forward to!
Under the Flamme Rouge it's Spartacus opening up a gap to the rest of the field! Boonen and Vanmarcke are trying to close it down and they seem to succeed! Mike Pye is following them straight away!
The 4 are now almost together, Cancellara is looking sure to lose it, while Mike Pye is the fastest at the moment! Can he pull it off or Boonen maybe?
It's Vanmarcke! Sep Vanmarcke wins the E3, huge sprint by him! After the break he still had the legs to beat the others! SpiderTech's Mike Pye comes in 2nd, while Cancellara rounds out the podium. Boonen has to settle with the 4th, while Jens Keukeleire surprises many with his 5th.
