Tipping Porte for today. He looked strong already on the stage won by Talansky.

The profile of Montagne de Lure if anyone is interested. Except it ends at 1600 m, around 3 km from the top which makes 14,5 km probably still around 5,7%.
Also I'm interested in what Roche can do. He's been pretty active, so a top placing should be possible.

True, but Roche already spent a lot of energy I think. But maybe, we will see!

Yes, stomach problems for Meersman and Bille, don't know why Tiernan-Locke abandoned.

Tschopp driving a second group up to the peloton, probably a mechanical for Löfkvist? haven't seen anything though... hoping its a mechanical or something and not the cold making itself known.
edit: looks like Tschopp was successful in driving them back up atleast, so probably a mechanical! (puh) =)

It will be interesting to see what happens here. Anyone who is even remotely struggling will really pay for it on stage 7. I wonder if Talansky's lack of support will cause him to have to dig a bit too deep, causing him to suffer in the next couple of days or near the top of this climb.
Really excited for this.

No, there was a crash, and Tschopp was held up, not sure if he hit the ground as well.

Ah okey, that makes sense... they are back now, right? thought i saw the polka dot in there, which should mean that Löfkvist is there aswell
edit: Or am i wrong? swedish commentator getting me worried saying he doesn't see him.

I believe they are both in the main group.

I hope you are right, but have looked like a mad man recently and can only see one IAM rider and no polka dots... |
