im quite bad at the whole story thing...
one problem recently was the switch between pcm11 and 12 so a lot of stories died
when a new game comes out lots of stories start, same with a new db... its life
but they do move off the start pages quickly...
To atone for my sins of 1 for 5 stories (at best) i am compliling a giant do's and donts for stories.
i've been going back over old stories, good bad short and long, one rider team other etc.
i've got a lot, but if anyone has any do's and/or donts for stories please PM me titled dos/donts

I would like to see a story "Hall of Fame" one day where all the PCM.Daily award winners plus have a pannel of judges to induct a few more each year (like the NFL does with the players) and place them all in one thread so they are easy to find and can be recoginized as the best PCMDaily was to offer. I think it would be pretty cool.

i was about to ask for exactly the same thing .... weird...
i've got about 10-15 do's and donts so far, mostly matched
eg. DO - take inspiration from a good story ... DONT - just copy an existing story with different names
(but more specific)

Actually you could stick with a game.. I mean when I think of SNs DFL story, he continued it even yeaaars after PCM 07 was out.. A good story isn't always the one who uses everytime a new game/version.. The only thing is just don't use the original Cya DB because Griipel just looks weird and I guess that would kill a lot of a storys flair.
I would start one with the older PCMs (2003-2007) but I suck at story telling plus I don't find any good databases -> more interested in realname dbs rather then overhauled dbs so I won't do one.
I am german we just like results and not the story behind it So thats why T. Martin should win here the TDF because of a time trial win

I would, but you actually don't have a documents folder in Cym 4, so digging through program files for screens doesn't seem fun.

Okay, tomorrow is the second week of school, here we go!
Fortunately, the professor who we have Thursday is making a film somewhere and Wednesday there's a strike so the trains don't ride so I have a weekend in the middle of the week |

I agree.
@Valv, I see the folder, but apparently ctrl+t doesn't do it, and it isn't possible to clear the interface.

You spend too much time browsing the cyclingnews forum
But you're right, extremely extrovert guy with a slightly childish, but enjoyable humor

On the other hand, i found nothing surprising on it, as you flight from one country to another and the officials are from different nations, so e.g. french officials cant be sure you were properly checked when boarding in at Nigeria e.g.
It is just for security of us all.
