Still trying to figure out Kern's mid stage attack. Looking for a possible move from Rolland that never came? Confused :/ |

Tour de France is such a weird race. Zubeldia is doing the best race since his 'cleaner' times. Normally Contador, the Schlecks, Gesink, Hesjedal and others would be above him though. |

There is that. Evans being a pre race favourite and having had a stinker of a season with disruptions to preparation throughout. In stark contrast to last year when he rode well through the year before winning the Tour. They probably thought he had peaked too soon last year when winning Tirreno and Romandie... |

Wonder what Voeckler could do minus the dodgy knee?

Voeckler, Cunego, De Weert, Jeannesson max competition? It's been two crappy years competition wise, because of crashes etc.

A Schleck, Contador, Evans, Frank Schleck...
Anyway, this quote says it all I think. Paul Sherwan:
"Nibali attacked so much that even Wiggins himself had to chase a little."
He's gonna win by time trialing and wheel sucking Froome.

If Zubeldia wouldn't have gone to Astana to be a domestique, he would have made Top 10 at least 2 times over last 3 years. He basically had one bad year. |

What's he done to suggest he is so cocky? I think some just still feel like he doesn't have the 'right' to be competing for the yellow jersey along side these natural climbers, with him making his breakthrough from a pure track/tt background in recent years. |

that's exactly my opinion. pretty decent stage rider. good in the mountains and good in timetrials when he wants to |
