In my planner you can select the objectives and make the fitness planning.
But the objectives only work for riders which already have objectives in the game. And for the fitness planning you have to create at least one group in the game and assign your riders to it.
Could you give non captain riders customized objectives and make their fitness?
When i change my riders for the captain and change the objectives (also to pre-existing), the fitness for my riders change to this objectives.
Theoretically you can edit everything using a database editor. My season planner doesn't support changing captains but it would be programmable.
The objectives are in the table DYN_season_targets. You would have to add a new line for every rider you want to make a leader but I cannot guarantee that the game can handle more than 8 or so. Also you have to edit the last column in DYN_cyclist (fkIDleader_target, which links to IDseason_target in DYN_season_targets).
No, the fitness will not change because the fitness planning in the game is broken at the moment. All "non-standard" fitness planning has to be done manually in an editor or my season planner.

I just found this in the steam forum:

Hi, we plan to improve the Rider Objectives parts in a further patch. The most important part being updating the planning of the teammates when you change their leader.
However, you might use a rider assigned as leader as a super domestique : just set him the same objectives than the leader you want to link, and you can even slightly change the planning. |

I have found out if you change your goals and the leaders riders, and goes out of the game to start and load the game again, it has saved one's choice also in fitness. dont go to a rider profiles to check before you have load your game again, or they are not save, you have to go out of the game after the changes and back in again, and then it works, at least here |

@doctorhjorth: Yes, that works but only until you want to change the objectives or helpers again.
I have posted it already in another thread:
Lachi wrote:
The problem only occurs after you looked at the profile of the helpers (click on their name to open the profile pop-up).
Reason: As soon as you open this pop-up, the fitness planning will be calculated based on the objectives of the leader the helper is linked to.
Problem: The game does not consider changes to the objectives or the helpers.
Workaround: Only change the objectives and helpers once per year AND close the career after you have changed the objectives and the helpers. OR Never open the profile of the helpers.
How to fix it: I am not sure if the fitness planning really is needed in PCM2016, so if you have this problem you could try and delete the planning from the helpers. Another solution would be to copy the planning from the leader to the helpers. Both can be done using an editor.
The fitness planning is stored in DYN_cyclist_planning in the column ilist_peaks. To delete the fitness planning, you have to delete the whole row. |

Any news on this patch which will fix that problem with objectives?
If that patch arrived, I can buy pcm 2016 and start a career. |

Have anyone heard what they intend to do about the season planner system that is new to this season?
I hope they will put a patch out and scrap it completly but i doubt that will happen. |

Surely they will not remove the goal system. Why should they as it is great for the casual gamer.
But they should make the fitness planning editable for all riders on the riders profile page. |

The freshness system is absolutely awful. For example if you will set TDF as an objective to your leader, he has bad freshness on crit. dauphine and TDSuisse which is very unrealistic.
In real Cris Froome won Dauphine and TDF last year and I tested it in game and he was around 15 place in dauphine (not in my team). Same with Peter Sagan which can win stages at TourDeSuisse and then can rule TDF green comtetition but in game he cant win a single stage in suisse, of course with bad freshness.
In PCM 2015 you had chance at least to set secondary objective to avoid bad freshness but this system is huge step back for me !! |

Yeah, I'm having the same problem.. T. Pinot was in bad freshness for Dauphine, but the only thing I was thinking was that it might have been from the training camp for preparation for le Tour... |

I think, that when fitness of rider is growing, then the rider has bad freshness and when it's full or it's falling, then rider has excelent freshness. So its not because of training camps. It ruins the experience of playing PCM and I am mostly using quick simulation when my leader has bad freshness. Anyway this system is so bad and unrealistic ! Hope they will fix this |
