Its strange feeling when you realize that barring Contador's stomach problems on stage 3 , he could maybe really challenge for victory guys.
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

Why you lure him here, he probably just posts his nonsense about Contador not winning again
because he was not really fair to Contador

Yes, he would have been around Nibali, probably even a bit better given he would have been a tad more conservative.

My body is ready for Angliru. I will be there on the climb. I hope I see Alberto and Nibali conquer it, and Alberto get his final stage win of his career. Phenomenal ride by Denifl and phenomenal Alberto. Shall be missed |

Btw, what was in Sky's mind when they believed they could power train this climb? It was easy to tell they couldn't. Nieve was a beast out there, saved Froome. Will they try to power climb the Angliru as well? Cause that won't work... |

Anybody saw Flecha's last climb prediction on Eurosport?
"will suit the climbers who power from the saddle, especially Froome"
"Contador will lose extra time. He'll have less grip on the slippery climb because of his constant front wheel movements".
Lmfao.

Best Contador performance since 2014 without a doubt.
Now lets see if he can do that on Angliru, I very much doubt that. Tomorrow has a great stage design, something big could happen.. |

I'm guessing Chaves is paying the price for those 4 months he got sidelined. Then a tough, demanding racing calendar from the Dauphiné to the Vuelta. Neverhteless, the entire Orica seem to be off really at the moment in this race. |

yes, no top10 with that startlist is disappointing, we'll see next days but progress of events don't let good hopes for them
not sure about good managment of Yates brothers, in particular Adam, that had more or less same approach of the season of Nibali and Zakarin

They only used 2 of those 3 climbs on the epic Fuente Dé stage. They are not selective in themselves, but its hard if raced properly.. |

...and from the Inrng preview:
"This is ambush country where Alberto Contador mugged Joaquim Rodriguez to win the 2012 Vuelta and a series of climbs come, the Collada de Carmona (4.8km, 7.2%), the Collada de Ozalba (6km, 6.6%) and the Collada de la Hoz (7km, 6%). The latter is where Contador launched his race winning bid in 2012."
Let's see how it's raced...

It's not 2012 but never say never
I think Contador still has it on a single climb as seen at the Tour on occasion or yesterday but he now blows hot and cold and sustaining things seems problematic???
