we need to remember, everytime you forget Kelderman as GC rider, Jesleyh dies a little bit inside. please be considerate and save Jesleyh's life.
Spoiler alternate line: forget Kelderman as GC rider, Jesleyh kills a little kitten, please think of the kittens

To illustrate Dennis's sick ITT. 55.446 is the fastest average ever in a TdF TT.
He beat Boardman's average of 55.27 in 1994, and that was only 7.2 km.
Second place Tony Martin averaged 55.139

So Pinot best TT of GC guys. I have a feeling he'll do epicly well. So much for me not choosing him in velogames despite that feeling
Is actually Dennis faster than Lance ever did or they removed his results from the record books?

I don't think a prologue has ever been faster? |

I believe before the stage he only had 1 vote. It was the bandwagoners that voted him to 4% |

So overall, this ITT is gonna have close to zero impact on the GC-guys. Kelderman obviously gains a lot confidence, but not so much more in the grand scheme of things - Bardet and Purito did what was expected, but dont lose more than 30-50 secs to the '4 bigs', so nothing alarming.
Big impact on the first week, tho. Who is favorite for yellow on Huy? |

Actually from what I've heard, weather barely changed, doubt any changes played a big role here.
Apparently dutch TV said that wind got stronger towards the end. So that explains it.
Still, insanely good TT by Dennis and Kelderman for that matter.

Mollema?
Naah, just kidding. Me thinks Dennis will be able to defend his lead on Huy, if he doesn't lose it tomorrow.

I was in Utrecht. Something around 38-40 degree. Weather is always a key factor. i was nearly death when we go back to the park &ride.
For me it was unclear, why Quintana was not in the Starting group with the other favorites. Quintana is captain of moviestar not Valverde. |

Its a very good time, but im afraid (not that I care, you obviously do) that he will totally demoted to 100% helper, especially now after the Giro. |
