So what part of that are you having a hard time understanding?
Uhm... the part where his word suddenly has any factual value when he has provided absolutely no evidence? You or I never heard three of his experts say anything. We only heard Roman claim things. All we have is his side of the story, a very painted one, with no evidence in support.
-if what he says is true about being caught on the bio passport, then it's an absolute fact that three independe Wada/APMU experts concluded that he is doping. No UCI. Only Wada/APMU.
-He also says he hired his own three experts. He claims that these experts are independent and trustworthy. He claims that those experts say his bio passport is normal. He claims that those experts say any fluctuations have other causes that can be proved.
So here we come in a scenario with three options:
A: He is lying about the fact that he got caught doping and everything is just a big hoax.
B: He got caught doping and is now lying about the nature of his hired experts or their conclusions to make it look like he is clean. If this is the case, first his supposed 'expert' proof will be found out to be worthless (note: he says that this has already happened!) and he will be banned because he couldn't prove he wasn't doping.
C: He got caught for supposed doping and now has real evidence to support his innocence. This will mean a lengthy legal battle because it will mean having to prove the flawed nature of the bio passport, a tool that has banned dozens of cyclists for doping already, a tool that relies on years of testing and lots of scientific statistical analysis. This would result in a complete overturn of the sport, anti-doping labs and procedures.
I'm pretty sure which one is the most likely...

Agree, together with the cobbled classics imo, it's the best part of the season. Although sometimes other GC's are more entertaining to watch, the Tour will always be on top.
This.
1. TdF
2. Paris - Roubaix
3. de Ronde
No Giro on that list?..man you have to go deeper into cycling..

His word? first it´s not his word alone, its his word, 3 experts and the Czech national cycling federation. And its funny you find them "untrustworthy" care to link to sources that will back you up on the assumption that these and the Czechs are corrupt like it has been proven UCI is during the Armstrong case.
So no here we have a case of UCI being UCI and funny enough have drawn out a case for 7 months so that they can inform one of the biggest competitors to Team Sky a short time before the biggest race of the season Tour De France that they might start a case against kreuziger.
Which is a bit strange because if they were like you, there is no doubt and its just a matter of how long the ban is going to be. But they have not really begun and instead just let it hang over a rider for almost 3 years.
But i look forward to your sources to prove that Kreuziger, his experts and his team and the national cycling fed. is corrupt and untrustworthy

Oh stop this Kreuziger bullshit I think it's so visible that someone(Sky) wants Contador as weak as possible. And that motherfing UCI(Brian Cookson) gives them a steady push by allowing Froome to dope . I'm sure they would have done the same with Contador if he had shown the slightest sign of doping this year as he has already paid for his previous mistakes. Really hope he beats Froome. |

Hmm, while I enjoy the Giro racing more, I still prefer the Tour, for all the media attention, big importance etc.
As a matter of fact, more than half of my class watches it, I think. Giro? Maybe 3 or 4, me included

Maybe in terms of racing. But in terms of everything else no race comes even close to the Tour.
I agree the disaster on the mountain that caused Quintana to get the rosa was absolute the lowest i have ever seen in a professional race and of the big 3 that was just a absolute disaster and Quintana and the others who rode past the flag should have been DQ or had a severe penalty.
Still whining/trolling even after more than a month? For the sake of my, and I'm sure others', sanity, please stop.
-----
I'm never really sure which I prefer out of the Tour or the Giro, it seems to change almost monthly - Giro is a better race, Tour is a better event I think.

I've missed the moment when Astana were presented today. Does anyone have some images with Nibali's shirt?

@Jacdk
Ok, let me try to be as clear as possible so you're not confused by the amount of words I'm using to illustrae my point:
What if Oleg Tinkov said 'I am the son of God and I have paid 3 guys to research it and they think that it's true.'
He would put it on his Twitter account. He would give no link to the research his 3 guys did or say who they are.
Would you believe him and think Oleg is Jesus?
If not, why not? Because he hasn't given you evidence?
If yes, then why are you believing Roman when he's doing exactly the same?

Mainly due to directors, they want to show their best rider in the race in their national colours hence represent Kazakhstan, hence the limited Italian jersey.
I know when Conta won the Tour riding for Astana, one of their directors was angry they played Spanish anthem instead of the Kazakh at the podiums, since it was them who invested in the team.

It's a shame when great nation jerseys go to waste. It could be worse though.

Ok, if you want to debate Kreuziger and UCI first of all take the stick you have up a certain sitting area out and stop confuse your hate for Tinkov and Saxobank for evidence that will prove you right.
Then read your post again and type UCI where you put Tinkov and then take a look, hopefully you will see where you fail and reconsider your whole argumentation. Hopefully you will then link to the sources who proves your assumption that the Czech Cycling fed. and the 3 experts are not trustworthy.
If you on the other hand still want to debate Kreuziger and his case while have a stick up your .... then its not going to be with me, i have no time for someone who just goes on and on without considering the facts in a case. |

What are you on about? i am giving a opinion about the Giro and as a race its officials are absolute terrible, not just this year but pretty much constantly most years.
Compared to Tour De France its like looking at a circus with a sad clown. |
