Don't see this as a quiet day, so close for Jeanesson, must be frustating for you to get caught with less than 2km left. :/

I would have expected Pinot to have done better at TdS. Good luck in the Nationals

Yeah, me too. But Pinot will be there when it's crucial. Geniez with some good post-Giro form in France. Nibali and Froome in a race of their own in Giro. Unfortunate on stage 13 with Roux, that was close to the stage win. To better luck at le Tour.

Unfortunately the Giro, the Tour de Suisse and the Dauphine haven't been as successful as the team had probably hoped they would be, but now they have to look forward to the National Championships to bring the french maillot to the Tour de France |

Thank you all..
* the_hoyle / Shonak & Vali - Well, i actually simulated as my time was too short to play..
*rogvi97 & sutty68 - we will try..
First climb done, there are no escapees.. Fédrigo leads the pack..
Descending 2nd climb, Fédrigo is allowed to go by the peloton... they don´t want to go so fast..
Halfway in the 3rd climb, J.Hivert(BEL) & B.Feillu(BSE) catch up with our man at the front..
Later on, we reach the final climb with the breakaway caught.. J.Gadret(MOV) is the first to attack.. our captain, T.Pinot keeps calm and maintain his pace..
With Gadret caught, T.Voeckler(EUC) decides to try his luck.. once again, Pinot keeps calm and rides on his own pace..
Voeckler is caught, Pinot, Barguil, Gadret and Voeckler get advantage over the reduced pack.. Coppel(COF) tries to close in behind..
Getting close to the top, Pinot sees that his companions are struggling and raises his pace.. he´s getting away..
We all know that Pinot isn´t the best downhill rider in peloton but he risks all and speeds up down the road.. only 47" gap to Gadret..
And he did it.. T.Pinot is the new French Champion..

All eyes will be directioned to this finish line today.. the question all are asking is Who will be the first to wear yellow jersey..
The ones wich came later to watch this ITT surely missed the ride of
B.Wiggins(SKY) as he was one of the first to come out.. without surprise, the British Itt champion sets the best time in 10´22".
Some time later our captain was in the road... he rode the fastest he could, ending with +31" (Wiggins time)
World ITT Champion T.Martin(OPQ) shows why he´s the best against the clock.. NBT with 10´13".
He´s no noob when comes to ride against the clock but might have shocked some when the newly crowned French Itt Champion S.Chavanel(IAM) crosses the line with the same time as Martin.. 10´13".. provisional 1st place.
One of the big favourites, F.Cancellara(TFR) rides with +1".. very close..
Lets check out who will wear yellow tomorrow..
Stage win is given to T.Martin.. T.Pinot finishes the stage with +40".

*Ian B. - Well, i don´t think it was that bad.. Pinot only lost 40", 20" more then Kwiatkowski, or 15" more then Fuglsang...
Here we go.. this year´s Tour de France first breakaway.. of course we had to be here.. P.Fédrigo, L.Boom(BEL) and N.Nuyens(GRS) are the ones..
With only 1 kom sprint, it was important to us to get those points and be the first ones to wear the jersey.. Fédrigo, being the best climber here, wins the sprint and will be able to show it tomorrow.
Int. Sprint, L.Boom wins it and equals T.Martin in points ranking.. 6´45" gap but decreasing..
Our captain and new French Road Champion rides safe and well protected in peloton..
65kms.. with the gap falling quickly to 4´28" and not being happy with his break mates, Fédrigo decides to attack..
Unfortunally he can´t get rid of them..
10kms.. the breakaway is about to get caught..
We reach the final sprint.. A.Demare couldn´t get to the front in time... A.Geslin(+5) is in the best position for us..
A.Greipel(left), M.Cavendish(middle) and T.Boonen(right) will fight for stage win..
A.Greipel wins... A.Geslin sprints for 7th... great finish.
Without bonus seconds, T.Martin keeps his lead.

A nice and steady time trial to start with and then a Great seventh place from Geslin as he mixed it with the big boys |

*sutty - Completly right mate..
*rogvi - I think we can say steady... yes.
While leading the peloton in 1st climb, P.Fédrigo shows his kom jersey on tv..
1km to the top, Fédrigo has to counter S.Chavanel´s & De Marchi´s attack.. our man takes the 2pts..
While De Marchi was caught back, Fédrigo & Chavanel ride at the front with circa 4´00" gap on the 2nd climb.. A.Vichot receives the attack order.. with that long descent, he will support Fédrigo in the break..
The front duo is close to the top.. 10pts to the 1st on top...
S.Chavanel tries to surprise Fédrigo but our man defends himself greatly and takes the 10pts..
They start the 3rd climb, A.Vichot is about to caught up with them.. 6´58"gap to peloton..
No time to relax... Vichot starts to reel fast...
3rd Kom sprint, Fédrigo takes it too.. 8´52"gap now.. Vichot made a great job uphill..
Chavanel attacks immediatly after the top.. our both riders are able to counter..
Int. Sprint.. once again an active Fédrigo takes those 20pts.. their gap droped to 5´11"..
Mainly because of Omega Pharma & Tinkoff efforts.. 57kms, 4´11" gap..
46kms.. Chavanel attacks again.. this time only Fédrigo can respond..
Vichot is able to catch them again but the peloton, pulled by the champions, is getting closer..
Now its Fédrigo who attacks.. Chavanel counters..
With Vichot caught, T.Pinot attacks with 2 climbs to go.. front duo is 40" ahead..
Pinot couldn´t get away but D.Moreno(KAT) catches up with Chavanel at the front.. Fédrigo was reeled in by the pack..
15kms, one last climb to go, peloton chases Moreno..
Last climb, D.Moreno still leads.. 7 riders are attacking, Pinot tries to reach the front after not being well posicioned when the climb started..
D.Moreno reaches the top of the last climb.. 51"gap to the group behind with J.Fuglsang, R.Costa, S.Henao, J.Rodriguez and P.Weening.. only 7kms to go..
T.Pinot was able to get to the front but missed the attacks from A.Valverde & C.Froome.. our captain tries to close in..
D.Moreno is able to maintain some distance and takes the win..
T.Martin will have to say goodbye to his lead..
B.Vaugrenard finishes with this group.. well done.
