If the goal was to make sure you don't relegate this time so Rodriguez can take over once maxed, you've more than done that. Coquard on 580k from FA is a great deal, and Wilco and Bennett will be great scorers too. Yes, they'll need to be replaced sooner rather than later, but because you have Rodriguez ready to go next year, that's not as big of a concern as it might be for most teams.

Agree with the above. It's definately a good team you have assembled, and any discussion regarding relegation should be off the table I think. Solid leaders, good depth and Rodriguez ready to bash everyone next season Smile

I think this time your team is much better suited for PCT than two years ago! A great sprinter isn't a guarantee to stay up (as Coquard showed last season), but with Bennett, Kelderman and Rodriguez you have decent other leaders as well - and especially the latter should net you some nice U25 points already. Asd some nice potential scorers like Afewerki and Power (who could do well in C2 races if you chose fitting ones) and it really looks good for you! I'm also looking forward to see former loanee Reuben Thompson in the occasional break and root for him!

@Jandal7 - I am excited to have a top sprinter in Coquard, but I think I agree with it being a large year for Rodriguez, Bennet, Howson and Afewerki. I very hope that it is enough to keep us in the PCT where we can then cement ourselves!

@baseballlover312- Thanks mate! I like that even though I have declining leaders I have Carlos ready to take over. We just have to stay in the PCT and then we are ready to go!

@SotD - Ready to see how the team goes!!

@kandesbunzler26 - Carlos should definitely be able to get some great U25 points. Coquard alone probably can't keep us up but I think the other leaders should be able to band together to get us some consistency in the PCT. I am keen to see Thompson in action as well! Keen for that!

Thanks Hillis for these incredible NC jerseys! We are excited to see these great jerseys in action and hopefully see them get us some wins this season!

I'm not worried about Coquard even though you should always be worried about a top sprinter. It's gonna come down to the other sub leaders helping out with the scoring.

Power being C2 Eligible is scary, definitely going to make our trip to Tachira more eventful having to face him as well as the best CT has to offer.

Coquard is a great addition for you and will still be one of the top sprinters in the division.

Also, nice to see Ahmad Zamri still getting a contract and hopefully still being a useful domestique for you.

Narraway, neat!
I like the team. Survival should be there, then it's rebuild around Carlos and settle in to long term growth. Spark is shining bright!

@sammyt93 - Really excited to see how good Power will be. I think with his energy stats he will be able to compete well. Just worried about his TT stat after seeing Bennett last season in races like the Vuelta al Tachira. But Power is better in that department than Bennett so might be able to do better.

Keen to have Coquard and hopefully he can score some good points! Ahmad Zamri will be a very useful domestique and will be great in the TTT squad.

@TMM - Keen to have Narraway in those great Bermuda colours!! I have some great plans for him to become a great domestique and apart of the TTT squad so excited for that! Yeh survival is the goal (as you will see below). I think there is a chance we can do quite well so that's the goal. Then we need to find some younger leaders to go along with a newly Maxed Carlos Rodriguez. I'm quite excited for that!

i.imgur.com/mtuT8Oq.png

We were very fortunate to be promoted last season. Bennett had an incredible end to the season and was able to get us into 8th place in the CT standings. Even then, we were unsure if we would be promoted and we started to plan ideas for another year in the CT. However, due to team disbandment's, we were fortunate enough to be the only extra team promoting to the PCT.

This was extremely exciting news for us on multiple reasons. Firstly, Carlos Rodriguez could become the first rider to go from lvl 1 to MAX while only riding in our colours! Secondly, we had an excellent budget moving into our 2nd attempt at the PCT. Our goals revolve heavily around 2 riders this season. Bryan Coquard was a great signing for us and we want to work with him to have as best a season as possible. 2 of our most important goals will revolve around him. We want to win the Ras Tailteann. Sprinters paradise essentially. Last season Coquard was able to finish in 3rd overall but we want to improve on that this year. The Down Under Classic is the next big goal for our sprinter. This will be an important start to our season if we can achieve this goal. We believe Coquard can even challenge for the win at this race and hope to see him perform well!

The next 2 goals move onto our start of the future. Carlos Rodriguez has grown to a whole new level this season. With his stage racing ability, including his mountain and TT skills, what it is, we believe he can do some great things! The competition in the PCT is stiff this season, it definitely will be a challenge. We want to finish in the Top 5 at the Criterium du Dauphine Libere and then the top 10 at the Tour d'Andorra. Carlos will be aided in these goals by experienced team mate George Bennett. He got a top 10 at the Tour d'Andorra last season and is someone that should not be counted out either.

With these goals in mind, we believe breaking into the top 10 of the PCT standings is doable, however will be quite tough. We aren't ones to dream small though and we felt a top 15 just wasn't pushing ourselves to our best.

CountryRaceObjective
Ras TailteannWin
Down Under ClassicTop 5
Criterium du Dauphine LibereTop 5
Tour d'AndorraTop 10
-PCT Team StandingsTop 10

We are relying heavily on our 2 biggest names at the squad, however these are riders that don't crack under pressure. We are super excited to start the season and right from the first day of racing, we hope to achieve our first goal of the season!

The season has finally arrived! Our second season in the PCT and hopefully our first season staying in that division. We have a packed January to get us started in the new season. Mainly in Australia. Tasmania obviously doesn't give us any points however it will be an interesting test for us against the PT teams.

Carlos Rodriguez's first test as the GC leader. This will be a tough race in the PTHC division. Coquard is also here for the sprints so we will be hoping for a stage victory from him at least. We would love a decent GC position however looking at the competition it won't be easy!

January Review

As January draws to a close, we can now say it is probably the most successful month in the teams history. George Bennett's August last season was incredible with multiple high GC finishes plus that incredible Tour du Maroc with the GC and a stage win. However, January this season in the PCT has topped that quite easily. The new leaders have shown why we took a gamble on them. Let's take a look.

Tour of Tasmania

Our first PT wildcard for the season and our second appearance here in Tasmania. We don't score points here due to it being a PT and a wildcard, but it is great experience for Carlos and the other younger guys. We still bring a fairly decent squad with Kelderman to lead us and Howson for the ITT. We were not expecting much here as it is mainly about experience for the younger guys. Kelderman though he would show the young guys why getting experience in the PT is a good thing. Out of nowhere, he takes the stage victory of stage 2. Put in a great position by Duyvesteyn and then converting the win! Incredible result for a team in a lower division!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PT/Tasmania/S2/33.jpg

Down Under Classic

This was our first goal of the season. Having gone multiple seasons without achieving a single goal, we weren't optimistic. Although this was the debut of Bryan Coquard and we believed we could get a podium. Our sponsor goal was a top 5. This race was quite exciting for us as we have never really been able to put together a decent sprint train. That changed today with the new signings of A. Edmondson and Afewerki leading out Coquard. Great to see that our signings and attempts to build a sprint team has worked. With a strong leadout, Coquard was guided to the 1km to go mark. Started his sprint and ended in a great 4th place. We wanted a podium but he just didn't quite have the legs. Still, goal achieved!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/HC/DUC/PCM0018.jpg

Tour Down Under

We continue in Australia for the Tour Down Under. We love taking part in this race and have been able to get a top 10 in GC multiple times. That was our goal here, although after the start for Kelderman in Tasmania, we believed he might be able to achieve even more. We were rarely seen in this race, no breakaways, Mudgway sprinted on the last stage to get 13th, Kelderman was dropped in stage 5 and lost a small amount of time. However, our returning legend J. Edmondson somehow finished in 10th overall. After just keeping out of trouble, he is rewarded with 10th overall. Kelderman was 14th and Duyvesteyn 15th. A great haul of points from that. We also won the Teams Classification which is a first for our team.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/C1/TDU/PCM0098.jpg

Volta a Portugal

This was the first look at our GC guys. Carlos Rodriguez is still not at his peak ability but was here to lead the team. It was always going to be a difficult task with the calibre of riders here. Unfortunately, Carlos just wasn't quite good enough and got dropped by a lot in one of the hill stages. He never really bounced back. In the initial prologue Howson managed to get 7th place which was an exciting start for us. Especially seeing him in his incredible Australian NC jersey! Stage 2 was disappointing. Coquard was here and was by far the best sprinter, but he couldn't get it done. Best we achieved was 2nd place in stage 4. In the end not really a great race. Some points achieved but could have been more in Coquard could have delivered and Carlos stayed a bit closer for the U25 jersey.

Circulo de Juarez

This turned out to be our most successful race in the teams history! Coquard returned as the reigning champion of this race. After a decline though it was best for us to hope for a top 3 or 5 over a repeat of last season. So that's what we aimed for. We had our full leadout here and in stage 1 it was right at the front. The sprint came and our big rival, Caleb Ewan, took a great victory and the yellow jersey while Coquard was 7th. I thought, well there goes the GC, let's focus on getting a win and a GC podium. Stage 2 came around and a great leadout again until around 3km to go where we drifted back slowly. Coquard started the sprint but only 12th. Ewan 5th and holds GC. This was it for us. I thought Coquard would be unable to do anything more then maybe a podium in a stage, potentially a win but I wasn't confident. Stage 3, A fantastic leadout and one that got all the way to where Coquard needed to launch. He was at the front from 500m to go and no one got around him. Coquard took the first win of the race! Ewan 3rd. Coquard 18 seconds behind in GC. In my head it was not likely.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/HC/Juarez/PCM0051.jpg

Stage 4 was an interesting one. MOL had a fantastic train for Ewan. Our train was quite terrible in the closing moments. Coquard basically had to do it alone. With 1km to go he was extremely far back. Around 10 riders back. He saw a gap and went for it and was by far the quickest in the sprint. However, it still didn't look likely. One final lunge to the line. Stage win number 2 for Bryan Coquard. Green jersey gained and 2nd in GC by 5 seconds. 1 stage to go

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/HC/Juarez/PCM0067.jpg

Stage 5 was a nervous one. We knew what needed to be done but it is never a sure thing in this kinds of races. Throughout the stage Coquard gained points at the intermediate sprints to try and ensure the points jersey was his to take home. The main trains were of the 3 guys fighting for the GC, current leader Ewan, Dainese and his team and then us for Coquard. Just behind the 1km to go kite, Coquard launches. Dainese has been boxed in a bit and Ewan has dropped back. Coquard could not be stopped. He takes win number 3 in the points jersey, but he also picks up the General Classification and gets us our first GC win of the season after a dominant final 3 stages!

Great Ocean Road Classic

The final race of the month. We have brought the exact same team as we had in Mexico. Shockingly, Coquard is not even on the favourites list. We hoped he would defy that. As usual it is a chaotic finale. Coquard had lost most of his teammates except A. Edmondson, but he looked quite tired. Coquard in the last 1km launches his sprint. Willwohl is the only sprinter that can compete with Coquard. It is a fight all the way to the line but Coquard continues his great form and takes his 4th stage win in a row!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/C1/GORC/20251016214312_1.jpg

A fantastic start to the season! Coquard has used up a few race days and now has a large break until the Lisbon Classic in April, however we are confident that with this excellent start, we will be able to continue the great form into February!

After an incredible start to our season, we move into the 2nd month of the year. We lead the PCT Rankings after January and have a month of cobbled racing. We aren't the best cobbled squad but could sneak some points. We also have our first C2 race in Tachira. Excited to see how our C2 team goes.

This is exciting for us. First look at our C2 team. Robert Power is our leader here. He could do quite well! Mudgway comes as our sprinter but will have to work predominately for himself. A lot of young guys here just to get some experience so our leaders will be working alone. There is some decent support but nothing amazing.

February Review

February is done and dusted and boy, it was not a good one for us. We will try to find some highlights for you but don't expect much

Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

We had our young Marco Schrettl in the breakaway. In the end our best finisher was Gleb Syritsa in 32nd over 3 minutes behind. Not really any other highlights here. You can see Marco in the image below 2nd from the back in the breakaway.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/HC/Omloop/OHN%201.jpg

Roma Maxima

The PTHC cobbled race. Our goal was points only. Callum Thornley got into the breakaway for us. Alexander Edmondson was able to sprint to 29th and get 5 points for the team. Our first points of the month. Not really a highlight but for a team that is not known for the cobbles races, we will take it.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/PTHC/RomaMaxima/PCM0003.jpg

Vuelta al Tachira

This C2 race was an important one for us but it didn't really turn into a success like we had hoped. Mudgway was our sprinter but struggled to get a high finish. Power was our leader who was doing alright but then lost a lot of time. Stage 1 the leadout never really worked and no one in the top 15. Stage 2 Mudgway 16th so again no one in the top 15. Skip to stage 4 and Thornley go into the breakaway. This breakaway saw him wear the first KOM jersey of the race which was nice to see for him!

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/C2/Tachira/PCM0050.jpg

Stage 5 saw Mudgway in a decent position but could not convert into a top 10.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2025/Reports/C2/Tachira/PCM0075.jpg

The Mountain TT had Power as a favourite but he finished quite far back and couldn't convert.

The first mountain stage had Power finish in 11th which was excellent but the final 2 days had nothing happen except for Power getting into the breakaway in stage 9. In the end Power finished 52nd overall over 29 minutes behind. Not a great race or month for us!

Franceville Classique

Finally the 2 day cobbles race. Edmondson, Skala, Vanthourenhout are the leaders. If all 3 can perform we could get some great points from this PTHC race. Syritsa should be able to compete in the breakaways and support the leaders.
