Congrats to Evonik on the great results. Single climb stages definitely value the hill stat, not sure if that will be as true under PCM24.
Was hoping Yates could find his way a little higher but he does love an early attack and it has paid off before. I think that is made up for by the somewhat fluky but not undeserved KOM from Kuss. Was nice to see our willingness to work get some extra reward.
The extra bonus seconds should ensure against disasters tomorrow but have to hope for no stupid splits.
Thanks for the reports.

I start to wonder... what's the point?
And I mean this is the 3rd race when I am left stunned. First it was a Coquard race, but that one got something of a logic in the end. Second, it was a McCarthy race, with absolutely nothing I could fathom. One of the top race favorites ending around the 100th place with no involvement in stages.
Now, this. Certainly Tejada could not end up on such a stage at 110 place a bit more over 11 minutes behind the leader. What are we, cannon fodder?
I mean, all right, I don't expect to win the race or even a top 10, but 11 minutes? Seriously, I am fighting for every single point here, but this is the 3rd time when I am not seeing a silver lining in my efforts. I better roll some dice and I would be better off for it.
I am just venting, but again this season seems such a waste of 4 4 years effort. Nonetheless, congratulations to the winners and thank you very much for the reports!

Gebremedhin top 25, actually happy with that, especially when Enger fails on the sprint stages, this cheered me up a little.
Thank you very much for the brilliant reports liefwarrior, and huge congrats to the dominant Evonik force |

Satisfied with the end result here. AKA was very well positioned in the stage 4 sprint, and for a second I had delusions of grandeur that he might find a gap to slip through for the stage win. That was not to be, but another top 5 is enough to get AKA the points jersey in the end, which is a really nice result, and something of a comeback for him after the Vuelta. His career opportunities are waning, so it's nice to see him at fore a few more times.
The countback also makes Gregaard and Aranburu's GC positions look a little better, which at least makes me feel nice.
Thanks for the exciting reports lief, and congrats again to Evonik!

Not much luck for us in sprints, despite Kuli getting a Top 10 finally. The GC more than makes up for it.
Congrats to Blasing for the stage and knockout for the GC 1-2. Thanks for the reports!

Disappointed to see Groenewegen waste another great opportunity at stage success, especially when it would only have taken a little to bring the points jersey home.
Great to have AHJ safely through, and congratulations on the GC 1-2, knockout! A veeery late title push? |

The run of bad races continues.
Thanks for the reports.

Let's just say I wasn't expecting Julius van den Berg to be our only scorer here.
Thanks for the reports! The different approach felt fun to read, but as a side note I think it would be good to have the stage profile at the start of the report just to know what we are getting into.

Thanks everyone
This 1-2 feels so satisfying because the decision of how to use Lopez' remaining race days was what i spent the most time debating during planning and this race was the key reason for picking the planning i went with in the end. Of course i wont pretend like i was seeing this result coming or sth like but at least i sensed something was there despite all the bad experiences ive had in the past with double leadership (Lopez/Skujins)
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Sorry for the lack of competing, have been moving and also starting a new job so busy busy.
Thank you lief for the wonderful reports lighting up our home race! It’s a shame we were total dogshit though, but we brought a pretty average team. Nur Hasan continues to not be able to get a result which is frustrating, I thought he could have snuck through at least on to the podium on the last stage here but not to be.
Congrats on the win knockout, not a bad result

First of all thanks to lief for the great reports and congrats to knockout for a formidable 1-2 as well as the other stage winners, podium finishers etc.!
Hodeg with another great result in PTHC, he's doing really well at this level. Ranaweera in14th and Pinot in 27th give us some nice GC scoring in addition, so it's been a good race for us overall.

Some decent stage results from Nommela but overall another bad result with Hirt proving he is now just too old.
Congrats to knockout.

No shame in losing to MAL and Lecuisinier in such a stage. Third in GC is a proper result.
Evonik knocked it out of the park there. Congrats!

Congrats to knockour for dominant 1-2 and thanks for the reports!
5th overall looks very good in such stacked competition. Also Philipsen grabbed few extra points. Overall solid race for our team.
