Great to see favourite sprinters in the top spots, congrats to the winners.
Zabel again very consistent and looking like he could make top 5 GC.
Thanks for the reports roturn.

Wackermann twice in the favorites list but not even trying is sad.
Another zero pointer here for us. Best luck next year, when we this one have a sprinter, I hope.
Thanks to the reports roturn, congrats to the win!

Well, what to say, after Juarez I came here with 0 expectations really.
Seeing the outcome though is the much needed performance and a bold sign of Groenewegen.
A much needed though as promotion still is in danger due to too many low performances already and the top is close this season with the unknown of Olivier still, who yet has to start the season.
In total I think the sprints were working well here, a lot better than previous races and less random with some offs. Obviously the final stage was a bit weird, which was mainly due to poor positioning by Demare, who really should have been in the mix on that punchy finish, same with the positioning of Manninen and Vesely on some stages, while Dainese didn`t hit the top performance as could have been expected to challenge the top2 a bit more.
Obviously I would have preferred to not report my own "domination win" here. But somehow I seem to have a trend to either totally dominate or totally fail in races I report my own team. Luckily for me, this time was on the better side, even though not as crazy as this Tour of Britain double break and small peloton sprint win couple years ago. |

Congratulations to stela vita on the stage win and roturn on the impressive GC domination!
After Juarez and with a sixth in GC now, I guess I shouldn't complain too much about Manninen. But yeah, always sitting at the back of the sprinters just before the sprint starts without a reason is not always a fun sight. Very nice to see loanee Moutsios scoring seven points with his GC, U25 and KoM performance
And thank you roturn for reporting this race!

Congrats roturn with the GC! Nice to see a CT 1-2 in the last stage. Great points haul for Stela-Vita here.
Liepins performed like expected. Hopefully he can pick up some points in the C2 flat classics.
Thanks roturn for the reports!

Congrats and thanks to Roturn We got Milan in the break so I guess that's something but absolutely woeful race from us. Not that I expected Coutinho to win a stage but would have been nice with a top 10 at least.

Congrats to roturn on an "easy" GC win - and to Stela Vita on a pretty surprising stage win! I guess if the less large roads led to more consistent sprint results, they also led to Démare being blocked today - one day you win, one day you lose. Still a good 2nd place, and it's really good to see that the top dogs mostly delivered here.
I'd say the GC Top 10 mostly look realistic, with Kamberaj being the big exception (but also being a well-known overperformer). Bonifazio and Abdul Halil the unlucky 80+ sprinters here, but overall it's a much better result than in Mexico from a neutral perspective.
Thanks to roturn for the reports, this outcome should definitely be great for your promotion ambitions

I have to echo Fabianski here, while Bonifazio is close to useless again, it's good the top sprinters score well here. Big congratulations to roturn, well deserved after Juarez. And sorry to hear about your pc problems with crashes that forced you to rerun the stages a few times
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Zabel got stuck behind the scrum and missed out on the last stage dropping to 8th in GC, bit of a shame but not a bad result.
Congrats to Stela Vita for the stage win and roturn for the GC win and the reports.
Relieved that the results for a sprinter race look far closer to expectations.

Walscheid not quite able to deliver the one over-performance to get an undeservedly high place but I will take the GC points for 10th overall in this field.
Thanks for the report.

No improvement on the last stage but 9th and 14th in the GC plus some extra points from Havik and the stages are a decent return from this race.
Congrats to roturn and thanks for the reports

One of the couple of sprint stage races left on our calendar after Silvestre's decline. Obviously I don't expect a repeat of last year's podium, I'll be happy with a Top 10 overall and maybe a Top 5 stage result or two. Let's see what happens, good luck everyone!
One 5th place, good enough for 11th overall, is within reasonable expectations. Silvestre was positioned decently well most of the time, just didn't have the strength to make more of it.
Seems like the top sprinters performed reasonably well this time, Dainese and Manninen maybe getting the slightly short end of the stick. With another strong performance by Aniolkowski, could this really be Popo4Ever's year ...?
