Two guys on the podium and a stage win is a superb result for us and a massive boost in the fight against relegation. Unfortunate that we lost the GC on placings, but we can be very happy either way.
Good to see Paillot step up a bit after some concerning TT performances earlier in the season.
We have to be happy with this 13th GC for Mottin is actually good for a C1 race, so will take that.
Guerao tried, but ultimately, he wasn't strong (or skilled) enough to navigate this field.

Rekita's time is not great, but not awful. He was probably hoping for a bit better as he's already 10th now.
Sums it up pretty well. Agree, not awful, but still bad and disappointing. He was Top 5 in the preview, and was the only one of the first 8 listed riders to miss out on the Top 10. So yeah, it definitely was another bad race, looks like we're on a streak...
Moreover, Stepniak didn't sprint, as almost expected - however, if even worse guys like Gani, Oka, Feiereisen or Barbier try their luck and indeed score, it's still hard to see why my sprinter didn't care. But again, far stronger guys didn't participate, either, so that's just one big mess of randomness. Best proof of this is that Bertilsson wins green
Congrats to the winners, and hope we're due some better ITT luck as well soon-ish...
I would just like to agree with Marco, Quispe is indeed the one and only GOAT. What a rider, what a man, what a legend. He thought he was going for a training ride and accidentally wins a stage, just Quispe things.
Great that our first foray into TT races with Eddie has worked so well (please don’t jinx it)! Bongo is the next race on his list and has 2 TT stages, so hopefully he can keep this up before heading back into the hillier races. Howard unlucky to not get the win there, not the best race from him again. He’s really got to improve and quickly to save our season - Eddie and Borges are both pulling their weight.
