Not bad from Ludvigsson, puts him top 20 GC within a minute of the lead, hope he can consolidate that.
We needed another decent TT guy to give us a chance at the Teams result, wonder where I might be able to get one

Thomas with a strong result for 7th, Cosnefroy a bit disappointing to only be 12th given he's got better back-up stats than Thomas.
Thomas won't be able to hold 4th in the GC but hopefully Cosnefroy can limit his losses and come away with a Top 10 here.

Good TY from Salas and nice to have the leader’s jersey! Unfortunate that Paillot couldn’t deliver to the same standard, as he probably was our best GC hope here. He really needs to step up after some weak TT performances so far this season.

Sorry for not commenting so far. Have been away.
Minali was a disappointment again. Dumoulin did ok but was hoping for better. Hope we get into breaks for a change on the hills. Nothing to be expected in the GC.
Thanks for the reports so far!

Uwizeyimana did everything I could have asked for there, 8th on the day is great. Looking at the GC, it's slightly unfortunate to have 4 riders seperated by a single second between each, and ending up in last of those 4, but it's no shame to land behind those riders and prerace, I probably would have taken 9th overall gladly. Now, the question is if all those short hills tomorrow will lead to any shakeup.
Hadi with a good ride here as well and moves up to 25th in the GC which is nice and no idea how El Sabbahi managed to finish that well on a climb, but I'll take it.
Congrats to Cedevita for the stage. And thank you to seancoll, great reports all around and this one in particular I enjoyed a lot!

Nice day out for Nikiema and a solid enough finish from Houle after he dissapointed massively in the sprints. Great to see Pogacar grabbing some glory here

Cedevita domination

Gaudu is either a premium hilly domestique or a breakaway option.
And what a job he did!!
All my hilly guys have been quiet this season, nice to see Gaudu wake up and contribute with a 3rd place while doing a perfect domestique job
Pogi is really carrying us this season, a consistent performer. And that's the 1st stage victory of his career
Borisavljevic with another great ride. I had some trepidation on how we'll ride this stage, but PCM AI had it right for once and prioritised riders like Pogacar, Boris and Gaudu
Mind you Christoudoulos did a better job limiting his losses than I expected. Crncevic also had a very nice ride. We are dominating the GC with 6 riders in the top 35
Although Penko might have been top 15 if he didn't lose time on the flat stage
Hoping for a quiet stage tomorrow so we can bring in a huge haul of points.

So instead of riding aggressively, McCarthy decided to not race at all
Quite a disastrous result overall.

Ok, ok Lennard. You win this round.
Very glad we still raced for Kamna and didn't do something stupid like drop our guys to pull for Belevics due to his GC spot. It's very interesting to me that Kamna seems solid on hills this year despite his 71 hill, but has underwhelmed greatly in the TT's despite that being his main skill. I predicted that his mtn/hill would be mostly sufficient for TT stage races, but expected more on the other side.
No matter, I'm obviously thrilled with his comeback and how strong he was in the final. 2nd place on the stage was very unexpected, and those bonus seconds have basically sorted everything back into shape. The 3 guys ahead of Kamna are all strong time trialists that should succeed in a race like this. I have no problem with how things have sorted out, even if it happened unconventionally.
Since we were 100% pulling for Kamna, it made sense for KHJ to attack. Just made the move too early unforunately. Doesn't matter since we still got the stage result, but KOM would have been cool. I'm satisfied whether he tries the same thing tomorrow or instead sits back and helps Kamna.
4th is a good spot now. I think there's an outside chance we can still pass Fernandes for the podium, but first things first, we need to preserve the top 5. Kamna had a bad day followed by a good day. Can't let another bad day destroy all we've made here. The fact that other TT/stage race guys are now in charge should help us control the pace, but we'll need good daily form.
Congrats to redordead, and thank for another stellar report.

I hope my riders know that they are allowed into breaks when not having a leader
Congrats to Cedevita on a much needed excellent stage result and the potential for this to be a huge race for them!
Thanks for the report

Can’t be unhappy to be sitting 2nd in the GC, but have to be disappointed with Dunbar’s rise so far. A terribly anonymous TT and then he was lucky that no time gaps were awarded here or he would barely be clinging to the top-10 where he finished, really bad way to finish the stage for him. Not holding my breath, we held a podium going into the last stage of Vasco and ended up 10th after the last stage being the only top rider to have a bad day. Knowing my luck that’ll probably probably happen again here. Congrats on the win red!

Unfortunate for us that Cosnefroy wasn't able to stay with the front group but he's managed to limit his losses to stay in the Top 10.
We'll have to see how it plays out on the final stage but I'm hopeful that he can hold on to what he's got or even gain time somehow!
Thanks for another great report and congrats to Cedevita on the win with POG

A satisfying end for us. It seems the parcours lent themselves much more to attacking for the stage than grinding away time gaps today, which I more than welcomed. KHJ was clearly very strong, but decided to stay back and make sure Kamna got the line okay. Since we lost our other domestiques, I can't blame him for that. A stage top 5 is solid anyway.
Kamna really gave us a scare with that poor TT, but his climbing legs saved our skins this week. 4th place is a satisfactory result here. I can dream of more, but it easily could have been a whole lot worse. Considering the favorites, I think this was about the right spot.
Disappointing that Gregaard cracked today, and we basically get no depth points with such a strong lineup, but I'm past trying to figure out how PCM organizes super domestiques for GC purposes.
Congrats to Marcovdw on the deserved win. And thank you again seancoll for 5 amazing reports. The detail and screenshots were all superb.

He survived. Finally some points from Fernandes. Okay stuff from Errazkin not losing time and climbing to 20th. Bunch of GC depth points too, definitely a success
