So that's how well you can do when outside of the French madness
Congrats, looking forward to see the result when we meet on the road. |

TRANSFER UPDATE
After we have signed our first free agents we can now also announce our first trade deals. We were in good talks with a lot of fellow managers but because of our tight budget it wasn't always easy. So I am glad i can announce 3 experienced additions who all fill one need we were short on before. So without further ado:
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | | Gianni Vermeersch | 77 | 63 | 70 | 61 | 74 | 78 | 66 | 75 | 74 | 72 | 60 | 78 | 63 | 75,1 | 30 | | David Wohrer | 66 | 75 | 74 | 64 | 68 | 72 | 72 | 56 | 66 | 73 | 75 | 70 | 63 | 73,72 | 32 | | Wojciech Pszczolarski | 73 | 60 | 70 | 74 | 68 | 72 | 67 | 53 | 71 | 72 | 68 | 65 | 77 | 71,56 | 31 |
Gianni will be able to represent our colors on cobbles and general some classics. So far he is for sure on of our team leaders.
With David we have someone that can go up the mountains decently and even if he isnt the strongest in that maybe can surprise at some stages (we couldnt get him in front of the camera so far).
And with Wojciech we finally have someone who can compete on TT's and especially at shorter ones.
Thanks to the managers of the previous teams for the great talks and negotiations we had and in the end the oportunity to get these 3. We look forward to working with them and they are a great addition.
With these our transfers are done, there could be some loan deals but thats it. We're now already at 14 riders and if everything works out as planned our main work in this transfer window will be done.
Stay tuned!
ANNOUNCEMENT
We have a completely available Loan Budget and (even if all we planned works) some salary budget. So if you need a place to develop or park your 1.xx or 2.xx riders you could consider us.

UPDATE
And again we can announce 3 new riders joining our new Project here.
Welcome to Jai Hindley, Dylan Sunderland and Juri Hollmann. A great combination of talent and current skill who will help our team to climb the ranks!
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Jai Hindley | 71 | 72 | 76 | 67 | 75 | 72 | 72 | 55 | 67 | 73 | 76 | 70 | 67 | 26 | | Dylan Sunderland | 65 | 72 | 70 | 57 | 64 | 66 | 69 | 60 | 67 | 72 | 67 | 69 | 60 | 26 | | Juri Hollmann | 68 | 62 | 65 | 69 | 66 | 68 | 62 | 68 | 61 | 63 | 61 | 65 | 67 | 23 |
With Jai and Dylan we could finally add a bit more climbing though they won't finish ahead at Alpe d'Huez. With Juri we could convince another german talent to soign. I am sure in the future he will have success on some TT's.
With that we have now 17 riders on our team and are ready to go. But that doesnt mean there won't be any aditions in the next days.
Roster Post will be updated with this also soon!

I really like how you keep a focus on your two key nations, but don't shy away from making useful additions from other countries when the opportunity arises. Hollmann is a nice rider that I've tried to fit on my team before, I'm glad he gets some development!

You definitely joined the game at the right time when there was no cap space for me to compete for most of the German FAs!
Really lovely roster you got together there, a few high ceiling guys on low wages and a deep talent pool to carry you in a few years.
I'm looking forward to talk loans with you in the coming years, and maybe there will be the budget for some deal offers as well, depending on next year's crop of additions.
And I hope Hollmann gets the Fabian treatment, I second cunego that he's a rider I've had at least half an eye on the last couple of years.

It's time. We updated our Roster now because we are mainly done! Take a look at it! At this point there will only be the addition of the 2 FA at the end and maybe a loan deal.
In this Update we wanna give you a brief overwie of the riders we could agree on a deal with and our thoughts behind it. For more details to the riders look at the roster overview at the first page.
Nat. | Name | OVR | Age | Wage | | Gianni Vermeersch | 75,1 | 30 | 100.000 | | Willi Willwohl | 74,97 | 28 | 50.000 | | Jai Hindley | 74,7 | 26 | 75.000 | | Aaron Grosser | 74,28 | 26 | 50.000 | | Maximillian Schachmann | 74,01 | 30 | 50.000 | | David Wohrer | 73,72 | 32 | 50.000 | | Phil Bauhaus | 73,56 | 28 | 50.000 | | Jonas Koch | 72,36 | 29 | 50.000 | | Wojciech Pszczolarski | 71,56 | 31 | 50.000 | | Kevin Predatsch | 71,49 | 30 | 50.000 | | Dylan Sunderland | 70,49 | 26 | 50.000 | | Tim Van Dijke | 69,61 | 22 | 80.000 | | Florian Lipowitz | 68,07 | 22 | 50.000 | | Juri Hollmann | 67,6 | 23 | 50.000 | | Sebastian Berwick | 67,53 | 23 | 50.000 | | Felix Engelhardt | 67,1 | 22 | 50.000 | | Marius Mayrhofer | 66,82 | 22 | 50.000 | | Jensen Plowright | 66,45 | 22 | 50.000 | | Craig Wiggins | 65,71 | 23 | 50.000 |
Vermeersch will be one of our team leaders and is chasing for wins at cobbles and so on. We're very happy we could secure the deal and add him to our team.
Willwohl is obviously here to secure wins in sprint finals and another leader. We could secure him for a min contract and we are sure that he will contribute enough points.
With Hindley we feel very lucky we could get him at this wage. Our intention is that he'll be the 3rd team leader and is fighting for points in some stage races and more challenging 1 day races.
Grosser and Bauhaus are really valuable additions for our sprint train to support our leaders but they will get there own chances too. Koch will also be a major help for the team and with his versatile skills he can help almost everywhere to secure good results.
We hope that Schachmann can add points himself at a bunch of classics and otherwise support the leaders in the other races.
Pszczolarski and Predatsch are the ones we bet on when it comes to TT's, they main not be the worlds best but we still have high hopes. They are also very important helpers in general and especially Pszczolarski another important addition for sprint finishes.
Then we have Wohrer and Sunderland who we hope can compete and support when it comes to climbing. Maybe they will surprise on some days. Neverthless we are happy we could add them to fill a skill void in our roster.
And now come to the talent section! The next 8 riders are all talents we wanna develop and have our hopes for the future on.
First der is TIM Van Dijke he will be a great rider on classics/cobbles and sprints for the future, we are sure of that.
Lipowitz will be most likely a strong rider in the mountains in the future.
Cobbles and TT's should be a strong point for Hollmann. He seems to has a few paths for himself at the future but we are sure he will be succesful.
Sebastian Berwick might not look that impressing but we believe he can be a valuable asset for every team competing in stage races in the future.
Mayrhofer will be most likely a piece for sprint trains in the future and Engelhardt should be good when it comes to climbing up the roads.
Also Wiggins can be a puzzle piece for mass sprints in the future and help the leaders there.
And then there we have Plowright another sprint asset but for him we strongly believe he will be the one that leads the team in this regards in the future. He has the talent and with enough training and experience he will go there.
In general you can see that our team will most likely score most of the points at sprint finishes. This year we are mostly build for it and i am sure we can build a nice train every race we compete in. Besides Vermeersch,Hindley and Van Dijke everyone is on a min contract so we are very happy with the outcome of our first transfer season. We didnt get everyone we targeted but most. Also we could clearly focus on our main regions and so i hope our sposnors and supportes will be happy too.
------------------------------------
In general i wanna thank all my fellow managers for the nice talks and negotiations we had! This helped me a lot to build my team and i look forward to it in the future again!

Getting him for just 20k (plus a decent but by no means great rider) is an incredible steal, congrats! Luckily I won't meet him on the cobbles, though
Also Predatsch for 50k is a steal given how crazy the TTers market is this year. In general, you made a fantastic job getting lots and lots of pretty good riders early on for just 50k!

Good job getting a solid regional focus and creating a classics team identity.
Pleased you were able to land Havik, I did feel bad overbidding you and he is probably a better option in CT TBH.
Vermeersch and Willwohl are both ex Kraftwerk and will do well for you. 50k for Willwohl is a steal, he refused my renewal offer of twice that.
Lots of talents will work well in the long term, hope this means you are planning to stay around for many years.
Best of luck for the coming season.

I would probably prefer a bit more quality and bit less quantity to your squad, but maybe it works out for you. Havik is a great late addition
Good luck

Rumors are saying that there might be problems with the Havik Deal. More to it if there is something solid I can say about this.
-----------
UPDATE: Yes the Deal have cancelled so we stay with Pszczolarski what is also fine since we've been done anyway before the surprising offer was made.

I've heard that before but I actually prefer it the way i do it . To focus only of the success I can have now seems volatile to me.

UPDATE
So yesterday some stuff happened and our roster was again shaken up a bit. 3 Riders left and in the end 2 new ones.
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | OVR | Age | | Yannick Stoltz | 77 | 59 | 65 | 63 | 71 | 74 | 70 | 62 | 59 | 69 | 82 | 70 | 77 | 71,23 | 34 | | Luke Plapp | 69 | 70 | 71 | 70 | 67 | 73 | 69 | 58 | 62 | 67 | 72 | 64 | 71 | 70,93 | 22 |
After we had already given up on him we could finally add Luke Plapp to ourr team for the next season!. We were able to loan him in from our friends of Evonik - ELKO. Also from them we could add Yannick Stoltz and with him a lot of experience to our squad. In Exchange for him Pszczolarski joined the Evonik - ELKO Team.
To make this all possible we had to part ways with Craig Wiggins and Marius Mayrhofer, we wish them both best luck for their future.
With a bit more than 1 day to go we are pretty surer that theirr won't be big changes anymore but we also learned that nothing is certain till it's over. Most likely the last change will be the 2 additions from the draft.
Stay tuned!

Vermeersch is a really great piece for your team. Had my eye on him early, but didn't fit into our plans this year. Should be a great rider for CT!

Wow, a lot of strong regional talents, which is great to see. Combine that with rather young leaders suchs as Willwohl and this team will be fun to follow for years to come. Good luck in your first season, and best of luck with the planning to level all those talents up

CT riders have been dirt cheap, when they are not French this year
Solid team, and some nice finds/steals on that roster. |

Draft Summary
The morning after the draft, it was an eventful evening for us. Beforer the draft we felt well prepared and cenfident. Then it all happened, a failure in our database we created led to a priority list that wasnt what we have been looking for. Our #1 and #2 were just not valid anymore and we only figured that out when the draft started. But luckily it wasnt to late and we could at least cut these two!. Big thanks again to SN and all involved for fixing our mess!!!
But now to the drafted riders. We got our #1 and #2 targets (the new ones ) and present them here to you:
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Kris Boeckmans | 69 | 57 | 64 | 56 | 68 | 65 | 72 | 70 | 77 | 77 | 61 | 54 | 56 | 35 | | Eliot Lietaer | 70 | 67 | 76 | 59 | 74 | 71 | 70 | 67 | 66 | 71 | 76 | 68 | 59 | 32 |
We went on purpose for experience here since we are allready packed with talent. So we wanted some guys to lead our youngsters and guide them the right way. Another goal was to go further with the building blocks of nations and regions. We also didnt want to broaden our skillset and bring in more depth to our current strengths.
First we have Kris Boeckmans, with 35 he wont have many years left but he has great experience. He will be a huge help for our sprint trains and also valuable asset on the cobbles. I am sure he will also be able to score some points himself.
Our second choice was Eliot Lietaer. He is a bit younger and can be another 2-3 years valuable for us. He is a really nice puncheur who most likely wille be able to score and support on various terrains.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Boeckmans from the season he spent with me. He might still have a big performance in him at CT level.
Lietaer can be a good hilly domestique and a nice attacker if he gets the freedom.
Solid picks

Nice to see Lietaer being picked up. He did quite some attacks for us last year, snatching up the KOM jersey in Vancouver.
Good luck!

ROSTER OVERVIEW 2022
Welcome to the introduction of our Team in 2022! And here is our Squad:
Lets get a bit into the details!
Sprinters
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Willi Willwohl | 73 | 53 | 64 | 56 | 71 | 67 | 78 | 65 | 79 | 78 | 61 | 64 | 56 | 28 | | Phil Bauhaus | 74 | 56 | 61 | 56 | 71 | 65 | 77 | 67 | 78 | 75 | 59 | 63 | 60 | 28 | | Kris Boeckmans | 69 | 57 | 64 | 56 | 68 | 65 | 72 | 70 | 77 | 77 | 61 | 54 | 56 | 35 | | Aaron Grosser | 70 | 64 | 74 | 63 | 74 | 72 | 73 | 58 | 75 | 75 | 61 | 67 | 70 | 26 | | Jensen Plowright | 67 | 58 | 59 | 58 | 63 | 70 | 61 | 61 | 69 | 69 | 58 | 62 | 58 | 22 |
Willi Willwohl will be our main guy here with his great fitting skillset. We hope he can be able to score a lot for our team. Right after him there is Phil Bauhaus he lacks a bit explosivness but in the end he becomes very fast too. other than that he has a similar skillset and we are sure he will be sucessful too. And then there is Jensen Plowright a great talent who will be able to learn from these guys this year and in a few be able to fight for podiums himself.
Then we have some special cases with Kris Boeckmans and Aaron Grosser because these 2 are more than "just" sprinters. Boeckmanns will be a huge help with his experience and still great sprinting skills and also a help for our cobblers. Grosser is just a great rider overall with a really great speed at the end. He will most likely ensure a lot points for us.
Classics
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Gianni Vermeersch | 77 | 63 | 70 | 61 | 74 | 78 | 66 | 75 | 74 | 72 | 60 | 78 | 63 | 30 | | Jonas Koch | 73 | 64 | 70 | 66 | 71 | 74 | 69 | 69 | 72 | 73 | 71 | 64 | 67 | 29 | | Roy Jans | 76 | 53 | 74 | 63 | 74 | 73 | 65 | 68 | 74 | 74 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 32 | | Juri Hollmann | 68 | 62 | 65 | 69 | 66 | 68 | 62 | 68 | 61 | 63 | 61 | 65 | 67 | 23 | | Eliot Lietaer | 70 | 67 | 76 | 59 | 74 | 71 | 70 | 67 | 66 | 71 | 76 | 68 | 59 | 32 | | Tim Van Dijke | 70 | 61 | 69 | 66 | 68 | 70 | 67 | 66 | 68 | 68 | 65 | 72 | 68 | 22 | | Felix Engelhardt | 62 | 65 | 69 | 57 | 65 | 65 | 65 | 59 | 60 | 64 | 65 | 65 | 58 | 22 | | Maximillian Schachmann | 66 | 67 | 75 | 56 | 74 | 69 | 64 | 58 | 69 | 78 | 72 | 76 | 56 | 30 |
Our classics section, no matter if cobbles, puncheurs or flats. We just grouped them here together. I feel like this group is also really strong and will get great results. We have here Gianni Vermeersch we can easily name as one of our team leaders. Great versatility on almost all terrains and in addition to that also equipped with a nice punch at the end. Supported he will be by Jonas Koch and Roy Jans. Both excellent riders in a similar way who will be a great support and also cant be forgotten about themself in the races. Eliot Lietaer feels then a bit more comfortable when it gets more steep and less wobbly. We could ensure him at the draft and he just feels nicely fitting in our group. I think that Max Schachmann feels a bit like a sleeper here, he may not seem that impressive but I am sure with his skills he will stir up a lot of escaping groups.
When it comes to talent then we are also not short on at this terrains. Felix Engelhardt will be a nice rider in hilly terrains in the future and able to be a main support for champion captains. Juri Hollmann wanna develop his skills on cobbled classics but also wont forget his TT ambitions. And then there is Tim Van Dijke, twin of Mick who also got a contract this year. We think he will have a great future and also won't stand in the shadows of his brother. He has many ways he can aim for in the future and we look forward which one he will choose. But for sure that won't be any GT to win other than that i feel like there are no limits.
Climber/Stage Racers
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | David Wohrer | 66 | 75 | 74 | 64 | 68 | 72 | 72 | 56 | 66 | 73 | 75 | 70 | 63 | 32 | | Dylan Sunderland | 65 | 72 | 70 | 57 | 64 | 66 | 69 | 60 | 67 | 72 | 67 | 69 | 60 | 26 | | Jai Hindley | 71 | 72 | 76 | 67 | 75 | 72 | 72 | 55 | 67 | 73 | 76 | 70 | 67 | 26 | | Luke Plapp | 69 | 70 | 71 | 70 | 67 | 73 | 69 | 58 | 62 | 67 | 72 | 64 | 71 | 22 | | Florian Lipowitz | 62 | 68 | 68 | 59 | 63 | 70 | 69 | 58 | 59 | 67 | 70 | 63 | 58 | 22 | | Sebastian Berwick | 64 | 67 | 67 | 61 | 65 | 68 | 65 | 60 | 61 | 67 | 66 | 66 | 62 | 23 | | Albin Johansson | 67 | 65 | 65 | 65 | 66 | 63 | 66 | 65 | 66 | 67 | 69 | 68 | 67 | 22 |
Our lead when it comes to stage races will be most likely Jai Hindley.. He can compete in the mountains even though he isnt top notch, but he is very versatile and with this strength he will be a contender. Our best climber in general is David Wohrer. Solid in the mountains and physically strong. He may lead in some races too. Dylan Sunderland will support these two and he still has potential to develop into a more leading role.
Besides Wohrer, with 32, also Hindley and Sunderland arent that old but the real talent comes now. Luke Plapp, he was our main goal and in the end we couldnt get him ourself but we are happy that we could get a loan deal with our friends of Evonik - ELKO. We do our best to develop him into what he is supposed to be, a great Stage racer. With his skills already he can for sure set some highlights the upcomming year and it will be nice to see what he can do at the Tour de l’Avenir. Another talent we have here is Florian Lipowitz. He won't be a versatile guy like Plapp but he sure has the potential to develop into a great guy for the steeper climbs. And then there is Sebastian Berwick, we feel like he is a sleeper too. We did sleep on him ourself also at the beginning but the more we figured out about him we are sure he can develop into a valuable guy for stage races at least at CT level.
Our only Stagiare this year is Albin Johanson. To be honest we arent sure about his future but for now we see him more in the mountains and hills and hope he can learn a bit this year.
The Exception
Nat. | Name | FL | MO | HI | TT | ST | RS | RC | CB | SP | AC | FG | DH | PR | Age | | Kevin Predatsch | 69 | 53 | 55 | 77 | 73 | 77 | 69 | 62 | 54 | 65 | 71 | 65 | 77 | 30 |
The unicorn of our team, Kevin Predatsch, a nice TT specialist. And the only one of that kind for us, and thats exactly why he is on our team. We simply need someone who can score some points when it comes to TT's. When it comes to TTT's he will be most likely supported by our talents. On other terrain he will support our captains and then when the TT is up he will be able to shine!

Summary
I think you can clearly see the strengths of our team we put together this first year. We won't fight hard when it goes up the steepest climbs or the hardest stage races, nor will we be a hard contender when there is a TT ahead.
But other than that? Count as in! Going for great results at 1 day classics, chasing stages, escaping the field and pedal to the limit at sprint finishs. That is what we are aiming for and this team is built. So we look forward to compete with y'all at this and maybe surprise in things you wouldnt expect from us.
Also it's clearly visible that our focus is on talent and supporting our, and our sponsors, main regions. And i think we did a great job with it.
Thanks for reading if you made it that far!
The roster post on Page 1 will be updated soon!
