Cannister wearing a jersey!!!
He's not exactly a climber, so that definitely won't last, but that is so cool to see.

Good to see that Szarka did some decent work for Philips(en), let's see if they can improve this result!
As expected, Team Switzerland didn't participate in the sprint - but good to see that Hirschi was attentive and well placed.

I'm glad to see Vabo attacking, but I'm also disappointed that Forssell isn't sprinting. He's a long term guy for us, so it would be fun to see him test his legs here. For that reason, it's also curious that we've been at the front the last two days, with Reynders sweeping up minor KOM points. If Forssell isn't sprinting, I'm not sure who we're working for? We don't have a GC guy.
Hopefully we keep trying for breaks going forward. Congrats to Vesuvio!

3rd for Thijssen is a lot better than what he managed on Stage 2 so I’m pretty happy with that! Our attention moves to Stage 5 which is the only other stage Thijssen can perform in. The others, I will hope for a breakaway appearance.

We place 7 of our riders in the top 30, but of course we can't affect the outcome. If Valter gets more bonus seconds then I don't see anyone beating him.

Nice effort again from Lagane, hopefully on the next sprint he'll get the positiong just right - having now been too late and too early.

A Los Pollos rider wearing polka-dots, that's been a while. Love it. Thanks for the report, Abhi. Looking forward to what happens in the hills and mountains.

Weird that Rodenberg didn't participate in either sprint. That sadly makes the selection of Groß rather pointless.

I'm really not surprised Valter wins again, he's a very good rider indeed. A shame Pogacar couldn't get any bonus seconds to limit the gap that's opening up, but to be honest he doesn't have the punch to compete on these stages.
I just gotta hope Valter has a bad day and we can capitalize then.

It's really good to see the Volcanica riders active in the breakaways. It's the only thing I expect our riders to achieve here.
Congratulations to all the stage winners and thank you very much for the rreports!

Was expecting at least a few gaps on that one but clearly not! The GC candidates shining through though.
Tomorrow’s stage probably the last where I’ll see any of my riders mentioned in a report so hopefully Thijssen can take a stage win!
As always, great report!

Xero riders and huge depth results at Avenir without winning, name a more iconic duo
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

That was a really nice sprint, especially if you see where he came from. All our other riders finished at the back of the peloton, so clearly no good leadout from my guys

Valiant effort from Mayer & Redy, it's good to see the T3A lads continuing to get involved in the finales. Plus a sight of Morales Ortega in the day grabbing some KoM points. It's all positive signs for the teams future.
