With the chance of jinxing the final stage, must say that this was the first real show of intent from Kelderman all season, and what do you know, he does have it in him! Really good GC position now and hope he can maintain this in the last stage as well. Pretty much wiped out the losses in the TTT. Hope this is a turnaround for him for the rest of the season.
Thanks for the report and congrats to McCormick

Woah! Absolutely vital for Stake to just keep yellow. Now we start the final stage believing he can come away with the GC win.
Very intense to follow the final kilometers with such a small group of favourites from early on. Didn't really think Stake would survive, but a positive surprise to see him hang on for kilometer after kilometer.
Kind of surprise winner in such a field, but nice to see the Americans come away with the stage win. |

Firstly: WTF?
Secondly: Can you just go back to PT, ember?
Thirdly: WTF?
Greatest disappointment I've had since Reis ToA in 19'
Congrats to Aker and McCormick anyway.

Ouch, really bad stage. Nobody in the breakaway, and Moscon apparently on a really bad day. In all honesty, he should be ahead of quite a few riders he lost time to today. Given that he finished 9th on the same stage last year, 15th - moreover with that time loss - is quite a big disappointment.
On the other hand, I have to admit that his support on the hills was close to non-existing. So we may have gained something in the TTT compared to last year, but we lost it again on stage 5. Given the stronger hills competition in PCT races this year, I guess I'd have to be content with 7th - hoping Moscon won't drop another spot or two tomorrow.
Congrats to UU for the stage win, and to ember for the very likely GC win!

Well wow, I guess that was the plan, get killed in the TT and go on the attack but wasn't thinking Boswell would go in the early break. Have to admit that I thought that was a mistake when I read it. But Boswell had his best domestique with him and he made it count, although he had me worried when Zisler bridged back up.
Clearly, a misjudgment from the peloton to let such a strong break go. Boswell in the top 10 hill guys in the race and he had very solid sidekick in Siegle plus some other strong riders in the break. So not surprised it got very selective in the peloton. A bit surprised about who made that selection.
Have a shot to hold a GC top 10 tomorrow but today made the race a good investment for us. Thanks for the report and the congratulations.

We will finish with around 20pprd, which means this race was an absolute success. Unexpected performance from Šiškevičius, probably last big result o his career

A race to forget, bar Moscon's stage win obviously. He was way too passive on the other days. And Stocker should have done something useful on the last day, given that he was one of the stronger sprinters left up front. The rest of the team was even more disappointing, not even having interest in breakaways.
Congrats to our surprise winner, thanks for the report - and now let's forget about this one.

At least a few more points on the final stage, Hagen needs to get his priorities straight.
Thanks for the reports LLS and congrats ember!

Missing out on a top20 is untinkable here, but reality is what it is.
Congrats ember and please avoid any other TTT please
And finally thanks once again for all the massive reports LLS!

A stage win and 3rd, 10th on the GC is pretty much the peak of our expectations here.
Thanks for the report and congrats to Ember and Aker

Thank you, everyone! Stake has been absolutely incredible this season. Adding such a win and result where also the whole team gets behind him, is new. The added pressure of being our GC guy here, with a strong TTT in support, must have been new to him. Then the sensational TTT performance made this result possible. Great to see him hold on, eventhough I admittedly started thinking Bobridge would nick the win seeing him in Van Stayen's slipstream
Great for us to bounce back after a couple of races where our results and leaders haven't been that great. Stake comes to the rescue, like he has done several times this season. Just brilliant stuff from him again |

Good punchy race for us after ages. Kelderman showing some fight in a couple of stages. We could have won this with a slightly better TTT setup but that's never been something we've been able to put into place, so still a fine result. Some minor points from stages and other classifications is always welcome.
Congrats to ember and thanks for the great reports
